Randle to Sacramento for Harrison Barnes and Tyrese Haliburton
Randle to Minnesota for Taurean Prince, Josh Okogie, and two unprotected firsts
RJ trades:
RJ and Noel to Indiana for Myles Turner
RJ to Charlotte for PJ Washington and James Bouknight
Dame trade:
RJ, Obi, Fournier, Kemba, Dallas 1st, Charlotte 1st, 2 unprotected 1sts for Dame, Greg Brown and CJ Elleby
1) I doubt we will trade Randle for a rebuilding project (nice rookie contracts + picks).
2) The Kings values Haliburton too much to give him in a trade for Randle. Especially with Fox playing so poorly this season.
3) Wolves must be crazy to include unprotected FRPs in a trade for Randle. Maybe Top4 protected (top 10 more likely).
4) Myles Turner is a good player. But he is aiming for a near Max, Randle-like contract in 2023 when he is a UFA. He is far from being a star and he is perhaps an even more inconsistent shooter than Randle. RJ at least is an RFA player and we have the leverage to get a better deal.
5) The Hornets have a lot of good wings on their roster (Hayward, Bridges, and Oubre). They don't need RJ.
6) I don't like the idea to give RJ + Obi + 4 FRPs to get Lillard. Especially considering his age and his current underwhelming performance and physical limitations. His peak may have passed. Also, our team is sucking right now to consider an all-in trade. Is this team a contender?
