Panic over then... sorta

I'm assuming with his age and him not needing surgery he'll be back within 2 - 4 weeks.

It's the Magic, so triple that estimate and you're probably close.

(not really)

Hopefully Cole and Fultz come back soon so theres something exciting going on with this team

For now, im seriously only watching for the franchize

Shoulda just got a VPN and brought it from India :D

Man this team is already such a headache to watch, last thing i want is to add the frustrations of shoddy VPN to the mix

I paid like 20 bucks for my league pass.. plus living in Orlando, there are black outs for some games, so having this I can avoid that

Hopefully, they'll prob keep him out a little longer just as a precaution if need be. Like a few have said it could do him a world of good not playing for a couple weeks just so things can slow down for him similar to Cole last season.

Probably. Thumbs can be funky...like a hamstring or hip flexor...it can feel better but one little bump and you're back to square one...the pain and limited range of motion go away before fully "stabilized" (sometimes). They'll take it slow when it comes to their lottery golden child.

I'm totally fine with this. I'd obviously want him healthy, but I would not want him to risk himself when he's got his whole career in front of him still. We still have another 9 years after all till we possibly win a championship :D . I can imagine he'd want to be back asap, judging from my perception of his character.

Yeah...you can't trust kids like him, he wants to get in there and bang. It's the kind of thing that could linger if not treated with patience. No reason to rush, as much as I want him to get in there and mature before our eyes.

yeah...about that.....i guess all i can say is a feel more confident about fultz than Isaac simply because of what was said and we actually got footage of him working out.....the last time i remember things being like this was when fultz first got here and he was still going through his rehab but the word was he was close to being ready but at that time it was just words....then all of a sudden we started getting footage out of nowhere and then he was back....The magic brass has a vice grip on these kind of things so if there is footage out there that means they want it out, so i feel he's close....JI is more nebulous....JI himself feels he's ready but i guess there is a difference of opinion and they want to be extra sure he's ready to go...me personally i'd be shocked if he's not back before the all-star break because if this goes beyond that then it may have to do with that other thing i don't feel like talking about...

what gets me is that fultz might be back before MCW...i mean mcw had ankle surgery for a bone fragment and he's still out with pretty much no timetable :-? :-? :-? :-? :-?

And where is Moore? The silence on the status on three of the Magic PG injuries is deafening. (Suggs was more transparent).

Suggs is at practice today with his thumb taped. Source is Ross' IG.

IMO,the brass is using all of these "extended recoveries" to develop the rookies (and other young guys) during the first half of a tough schedule. I also believe Ross was instructed to be a coach on the floor and to NOT take over games.

only logical explanation would be that they are holding back players to lose as many games and win lottery because they are on hot seats. Differential in wins between Hammond and Hennigan is 32% vs 37% .

You mean you don't believe E'Twaun Moore suffered a season-ending "strained knee"? :D
