In a game where we give up 60 first half points to a team missing its offensive anchor. I think Eric meant to say that Memphis and Memphis alone is playing physical

We’re getting punked. I’ve been saying it the last 10 or so games, this team is not the bunch of dogs they try to pretend to be. We’ve been punked multiple times this season when it gets physical.

To be fair, its very difficult to be physical when the refs won't let you but will let the other team. Jimmy got put on his ass several times with no call that half, and thats nothing something they are letting go without a whistle for us.

It seems as if there is this long prevailing notion around the league that the Heat are a fake tough guy team. Thats why so many were happy about what happened to Markieff and constantly talk **** on Jimmy. But whats concerning is its almost as if its gotten into the refs head too.

Thats just BS spewed by idiots. Heat are a strong defensive team, never a "bully" team lol

Yeah he makes scrubs good but has seemingly lost his ability to manage top heavy talent? Nahhh I dunno

The thing about having a top heavy roster is when one of them get hurts it doesn't work.

We are not top heavy but weve lost 2 rotation dudes in the frontcourt and Jimbo is still hurt apparently

I mean we still got Dipo and Morris not playing and those are playoff minute players as well

No its not. This fixation with playing big like Yurt is some sort of saviour doesn't make any sense. The roster is what it is, its meant for small ball and it's not deep. The Heat need Butler, Lowry and Bam to healthy. They each indispensable because there's no one else in the roster that can replicate what each person does.
Butler is the only one who can consistently get to the rim and get FTs. Lowry is our only natural pg and Bam is our only competant big and lob threat. You see what happens with our switching defense when Bam is out, it goes to sheet.
Now for everyone screaming for Yurt, I don't see how he solves the defensive problem. Neither Yurt or Dedmon is a shot blocking big and Yurt as we've seen gets lost on defence.
While Bam is out, they need to use that last roster spot and either get an athletic shot blocking big so they can play more drop defense or get an another athlete at the 4 position.
I just think this team is slow and offers limited rim pressure especially when Butler is clearly not a 100 %.

Facts.

To add to what you said, we really only have one natural scorer too, and he's coming off the bench. Jimmy is a scorer, but not what I'd call a natural one. Even he struggles sometimes with the "score" mentality, if that makes sense.

We have to start looking at our roster objectively. Especially if we want to start looking at upgrading it.

I’ll trade Lowry Herro and picks for dame. Throw in salary on either side if needed.

Ingram I’m not sure. Robinson and Herro for Ingram. Throw in Tucker if needed and bring another guy back. Idk though, if I heard we turned down a Herro for Ingram trade I wouldn’t be mad about it. I do think he would raise our ceiling though

You cant trade Herro twice so youre saying either Dame or Ingram. Im not high on Ingram myself. Empty stats. Has proved nothing.

Dedmon is not a lob big. Please stop throwing it up to him. Just give him a pass at chest level
Don’t let us get one. — Nikola Jovic

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

I agree with all. Spoelstra really has no choice but to play small.

You said he’s soft and not a good defender because he doesn’t average just as many blocks as Turner and we’d be better with Dedmon
