Let's be honest though, Curry and Kerr are the superstars on that team. I'm convinced that on any other team, Green would have never developed into what he is today. We know that to be a fact for Wiggins. Poole is a testament to GSW's development program. Everyone else that played tonight really is not anything better than what we have.
TLDR: Give me Curry and Kerr and I'm good with building around that.

Yes they are and I agree with you on everything you said. Just highlighting how crappy our roster is from a general sense lol.

Indeed. Even our injured players pale in comparison to GS roster. Our best players are well down the totem pole if they were in GS.ChosenSavior wrote:Pretty wild that Golden State has lottery picks at the end of their bench while we are starving for just competent talent.

Many people have that perspective but I disagree. I feel like guys develop by playing and making mistakes. I remember Kobe throwing up some terrible shots when he was with the Lakers. While they are winning, I personally think that GSW are wasting Kuminga's and Moody's time right now.

Lots of turnovers and a Warriors that was too overwhelming. On to the next game.

Mo Wagner has been a liability on offense with lots of TOs. He shouldn't be on the floor. His shot is bad. I'd rather play Robin Lopez

It works both ways though.
You take a lot of these Warriors' players out of that system and that structure and stick them in Orlando where virtually anything goes and they'd really struggle.
I mean look no further than Mulder.
That guy played 60 games for them last year and shot 45% from the floor and 40% from three with a 16-3-3-1 per 36.
Get him to Orlando and away from all the gravity and he looks like what he really is, which is a should be out of the league scrub.

There are more than a few guys on the Magic who would absolutely thrive in Golden State playing with Curry and Green.
They'd look much better in a more clearly defined role and able to play off the gravity of elite teammates.

I think Franz, Suggs, Wendell and a healthy Isaac would all be really good for GSW.
Really any player who can do little things at a reasonably high level - help defend, make extra passes, hustle, hit open jumpers, make timely cuts, play in transition - are going to look even better playing next to star teammates who create those kind of opportunities all the time.

You just can't keep turning the ball over like that repeatedly. One reason I like Okeke is that he doesn't turn it over. I'm not saying he's a star, but I think his shooting numbers will level out, and he's just a solid guy. He's a guy that will look better if his team is better. He's not good enough to look great on his own, but put him on a good team as a glue guy and the quality of his shots would be a lot better than they are now.
But anyway, the turnover problem is a huge problem. Guys need to start being yanked for bad turnovers. That includes Suggs when he comes back. Not yanked for the whole game, because they need to play and learn, but I think we need an immediate tangible consequence. I know you don't want guys playing scared and looking over their shoulder, but maybe that's actually where we want to be for awhile before easing up on it. We just need to break this carelessness.

11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

You need to say that to RJ, since he had 6 TOs. Cole also had 4 TOs while making 0 3s

I don't disagree with you necessarily. I wouldn't mind seeing Mosley hold guys more accountable.
But it's just tough to come down hard on guys and cut their minutes for making careless mistakes when five guaranteed contract guys are out injured and and at least 3 (if not 4) of the 11 guys available every night genuinely should not be in the NBA.

Kerr is such a great coach and a great leader. He constantly brings ex-head coaches onto his staff (Mike Brown, Alvin Gentry, Kenny Atkinson, etc). I don't know anything about him personally so maybe he's a jerk but I'm huge into leaders hiring talent that some would view as 'competition' for their own jobs. You look at his bench over the years and there is no doubt that there is a lot of great basketball knowledge on the sideline at all times. Hell, he took half a year off and gave one of the worst basketball coaches a 5+ year career because of the system and staff he built

As I said earlier, RJ needs to be treated as a 3&D guy. His role is too big due to injuries.

No doubt that even Bamba could fill Looney's role. WCJ would thrive. Franz would thrive. Harris would probably look like Denver Harris. RJ could play Payton II's role. Even Okeke could fill Porter's role and probably look better.

Lakers were great team when Kobe was rookie. They finished season with 56-26 record and lost in second round to eventual finalist Jazz.... So yea.. players do develop fastest and best when there is urgency for them to catch up with at least active role players and fight for PT.
