what i can't quite figure out is what his game is projecting to be. cause right now he kinda doesn't do anything except score, and it feels like he's moving around the court and has defensive instincts/mobility/IQ. but you look at his box score and you're like, does he ever rebound or pass?

He definitely has more to offer but right now the Clippers just need him to score. I'm at the game and he's been very active on defense, got a couple of steals, boxes out well and quietly does a lot of little things that don't show in the boxscore. Like I said, seeing him in person, the kid is really impressive

BB's seeing the whole floor but BOS is on a West Coast swing, a bit bleary-eyed after getting smoked by the Lakers and now in slow motion. Not to take anything away from BB. He crushing it, obviously the best player on the floor tonight.

Okay, dude. Trashing every young player we draft even when they have success won't change the reality that Doc was a horrible GM.

so i think maybe the niftiest thing about boston, and it's a corollary of what i said earlier in that he just seems to be in the right place at the right time on defense, is that he does that too but on offense.

lots of guys, they're just way too close to the paint or somewhere they shouldn't be, clogging up the lane for everybody else. but boston seems to really good recognizing the primary action and knowing he needs to be spacing out to the three point line to stretch the defense and give options. and if you look, he's OPEN, like a LOT. sure, plenty of that's boston's failure to guard him, but that speaks to his ability to make positive, space-impacting plays.

Five minutes without a made basket and the shot selection keeps getting worse. Unacceptable and it happens damn near every game. Where is the coaching, where is the accountability?

Lue finally came to his senses and put Boston in the rotation. Now he needs to find spot minutes for Johnson. His offense is not as far as Boston but it’s coming along. But his energy and defensive intensity/instincts should get him some minutes.
