If only it were an accident. In truth Karl believes in a more equitable distribution so he looks to draw the double and kick out to the open shooter. If he knew he was going to shoot 35 attempts per game he would just go. We always have this problem where our best shooters don’t want to volume shoot. It is madness.

Jazz have guarded KAT with Bogdanovic in the past -- a) it lets Gobert sit back in the paint guarding a non-shooter, and b) it lessens Gobert's exposure to cheap fouls on KAT's drives. KAT actually hasn't scored the ball well when being guarded by Bogdanovic.

Step 1, camp out behind the 3 point line. Step two, shoot over any smaller defenders trying to guard you. Or if you don’t like step 2, run pick and pop for KAT, or step back 3s, or drive and kick with Ant (less likely as they will leave others open and focus on KAT. Especially with Gobert sitting down there.)

It's our current kryptonite.

Here's hoping they make a move to address it. As much as I love what Vando is doing they need someone who can hit a 3 out there AND who can play with KAT (doesn't seem to be Reid for whatever reason).

This team going from top 8 lotto team to a playoff contender to back to top 8 lotto team in a span of ten games is so cruel.

Simple recipe. Missing players (Dlo the first and second time, plus the flu mess,) Ant having a bad stretch (he was truly excellent in most of the games we won in that stretch,) lack of step up from role players, and KAT not doing enough to get us the W. All of that plus very stiff completion. We need more size, rebounding, and consistency in both 3 point shooting and paint defense.

Last year, the Jazz did the same thing, but they put Gobert on Okogie.

I didn't see the game, but from down 1 at the half to losing by 32 is crazy.

"Anthony Edwards said it's disrespectful Utah guarded KAT with Bojan Bogdanovic:

"I told him it’s disrespectful for them to put NO. 44 on you, bruh. That’s disrespectful. He know he gotta kill all of them. He’s the best player on the floor every night. He’s gotta kill em."

YES KAT IS WITH FEW EXCEPTIONS.

Yep, Kat wants to be the complete player and pass the ball like Jokic or Embiid. Finch wants him to be like Jokic but we can see he isn't. Kat is good but not that good.

Ant is right in Kat making faster decisions. To shoot or drive, it doesn't matter. We don't have enough cutters for him to pass to either. No wonder he looks around to pass forever.

There's a clear difference between reacting to a double and waiting for it to come.

Towns was doing the second when he needs to just do the first.

Either way this loss looks better with the beat down they just put on a healthy Philly team. Even 100% healthy, which we aren't, we're not a match for this Utah team.

Agree with the first part, not sure about the second part. With Dlo and Beverly playing well we probably win that game.
