A friend of mine is trying to decide which console to get; she had a PS4 this last cycle but with everything going towards crossplay and her love of Halo, she's considering an Xbox for the first time since the 360 but she's nervous it might just not be as good a system as the PS5.

I find myself playing on the Xbox Series X more than I do the PS5, largely because of Game Pass. But if and when the PS5's library expands or they have a legit competing service, I'll go back to playing it. I like the PS5's controllers more and they can do some interesting things with the haptic feedback.

Yup, this is pretty much exactly how I feel. But I play PC more than either console.

Interesting because it's in our neck of the woods. I knew some people from college worked QA there, but not sure if they are still there and potentially affected. Regardless, another L for Activision.

Game Pass is undefeated. I doubt I stick with Archvale because bullet hell has never been my thing, but I'm installing it, Townscaper, Evil Genius 2, and Anvil: Vault Breaker at the moment.

I'm pretty hyped for Nobody Saves the World. Definitely let me know what you think if you check it out.

See I vastly prefer the Xbox controller and I think that the series x comes with the best console controller of all time. If you enjoy Halo the new system is a no brainer, and friends that have both seem to be playing their xbox more because of gamepass coming with things like Forza and Halo.Theres lots of smaller titles that are worth some time on there as well.

Downloading Evil Genius right now, looks interesting.

Obviously Amazon has shipping issues as soon as I ordered my Razer Iskur XL. Originally had an arrival date of tomorrow, now expected delivery is the 23rd when I'll be out of town.

Got my new Macbook Pro M1 at work today. This is great, but don't be surprised at how beefy these things are. Fine by me as I use it for work more than travel, and it brought back the HDMI port and an SD slot.

Took off tomorrow to have a long, chill birthday weekend. Really tempted to spend the $60 to grab the Infinite campaign, but trying to stay strong as I think I can get it cheaper later when I have less to play. There's also some great deals going on for The Game Awards on Steam if anyone needs to pick something up to occupy themselves.

I ended up with an ASUS laptop, couldnt deal with how featureless some laptops have gotten for the sake of being small. I dont need a super compact laptop.

The first two hours I had it second screened while playing Guilty Gear with my friends. Last hour I watched on my TV while my puppy wound down for the night. I barely recall what all happened, but all I can say is that it certainly was way too long.
