I agree with Prok on Harden, folks around here need to stop listening to the talking heads on TV. James is doing fine. Even if you discount the hamstring recovery, something takes months to fully recover from after returning to play, he's been very effective.
IT LOOKS UGLY AS SIN, NO ONE IS QUESTIONING THAT. But don't let aesthetics blind you. Paul George is much more aesthetically pleasing to watch, and is not coming off of an injury. Still, he's having a much worse season than Harden by almost every statistical measure, one of the worst of his career.

Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

So the complaints are weird in a way because this is what your stars want. Iso heavy looks and not a ton of play calls, Harden is a high usage guy who basically runs his teams with a bunch of shooters around him and a lob threat. Kd clashed with Kerr because he wanted him to move the ball more and Kd likes to isolate and score. So, Nash is a perfect coach for what your stars want, a guy who just sits back and lets the stars do their thing.
It's one thing to be player friendly with some experience like a Ty Lue. It's another thing to be a really likeable hall of famer doing an apprenticeship at the highest level of basketball with championship aspiritations. He may one day be a good coach, but he's been set up for failure (at best ugly success by the skin of his teeth) and ultimately that's on Marks.
The most annoying thing at the moment is the iso ball combined with the snail's pace we're playing at. Harden's crossing halfcourt at 16 on the dot, then we get 1 pick and roll and a heavily shaded drive that is lucky to touch the paint. I'm amazed that we're not ranked 30th in points in the paint (Dallas claims that dubious honor, beat us out by 0.6 points per game at 39.7). No wonder teams have so much energy to run us ragged on the fast break, they must expend next to zero energy on defense.
Yeah, I watch your games from time to time. The offense is very basic, you see a few off ball screens for Kd, or a rare Kd+Harden screen lol. But it all boils down to when Nash was hired and the dynamic duo were on a podcast and said they don't need a coach. It said it all right there, just be a figurehead and let us do our thing. Your criticisms are all valid ones but if the stars want to play this way there is nothing that can be done. You guys need some fresh legs in the backcourt that can push the pace and also utilize Claxton as a high energy lob threat. And I agree with the Harden stuff as well, he's playing so slow and looks like he forgot how to play ball at times. On the rockets he dribbled the hell out of the ball but his mentality was to get buckets at least. Now it's just indecisiveness with the ball and it's messing up the flow. Kyrie is either traded or sitting out the rest of the year so it seems this is the team you're rolling with unless a move is made.
