I learned today which was the team with the fewest total wins in a single season (if you include the BAA):

It was 6 wins in the 1947-48 BAA season by the Providence Steamrollers.

What a fantastic name for a team with the fewest wins ever.

I always wondered how the Bad Boys would have been remembered if they got that 3 peat. They were so close and robbed. You can't say for certain they would have had the same drive to win the next two, but that team would have gotten the 3 peat before Jordan's Bulls would have been pretty huge... also for Thomas' legacy as a player. He'd be in the top 15 all-time talk most likely.
