Imagine Kobe, Lebron, or Steph Curry saying this...you'd have to because they know it's an idiotic opinion.

Curry actually regularly plays golf with Michael Jordan, you're crazy if you think he hasn't picked his brain out on the green. For LaMelo's sake I hope he disagrees with his Dad.

I'm generally kinda anti-Lavar, but this is objectively a very funny thing to say, intentional or not.

Yeah? So if you were young and in the NBA and chatting with Michael Jordan and getting advice from him was an option, you would not be interested?

But Lavar Ball got himself noticed again.

Yes, yes. Back in the good old days, when men were men, we'd beat the **** out of you or threaten such at the slightest provocation. Lavar would really have to stay in his lane back then. Too bad he wasn't around in those times. The nineteen nineties.

I actually feel the hood/hat combo and low key posturing is him trying to be stealth/create a distance.

What this article doesn't mention is where this quote came from. I wouldn't be surprised of he was probably joking with some paparazzi that was egging him on.

Last week he said all 3 brothers were going to the Clippers but I didn't see that make the rounds.

He is just trolling.

But please go and blow this put of proportion and don't take into account Lamelos own words on the matter.

I hardly see LaMelo's finishing his 2nd contract on the Hornets. He will force his way to some "bright lights" city when things don't go his way.

I wonder what your opinion would be if you guys hadn't been so "Wise", man.........................

Lamelo has said himself that he wants to break the mold of jumping from team to team, and wants to bring a Championship to Charlotte.

But please share all of your evidence to the contrary, I am genuinely curious

Is Big Baller Brand still a thing? I mean, it never was, but you know what I mean.

I notice the website is back up and running.

Lavar really wants LaMelo out of Charlotte and into a Chicago Bulls uniform with his older bro, Lonzo.

Well, lots of players have said that in the past. You know how that turned out.

Evidence is out there for all to see. Just a little bit of knowledge of NBA history will go a long way.

I know I got you triggered because you are a Hornets fan. Sorry, didn't mean to burst your bubble.

I hope LaMelo stays and you get to enjoy him until his playing days are over.

The next day Lavar was smoking cigar together with MJ, smiling. One got more exposure for his son, the other for his team. W-W.

I mean Jordan never got out the first round on his own... If anything LaMelo should be seeking out Pippen for advice.

Setiously though, this is just a publicity stunt, at this point Lavar knows how to create clicks and buzz and get noticed. He knows what he's doing.

I have respect, but also, you effectively said that Lamelo isn't willing to listen in your original post, but there is absolutely nothing that I have heard through inside sources or in the media to suggest that.

"I'm great, I know what I want, I need no help" is something like what you said. That has been the opposite of Lamelo Ball to this point. Unless you have access to Yellowstone or Looking Glass, then it is tough to envision him having this type of attitude.

He has worked hard for everything he has gotten to this point, and I know that him and MJ talk. However frequently those conversations are would be a guess, as MJ likes to keep it under wraps who he talks to PERIOD.

He is one of the most if not the most active owner (s) in the league, and I doubt that he hasn't taken a direct interest in Lamelos devopment
