I know this forum seems to really love Nash, but my votes for McGrady. He reached a Kobe/Wade level of play in '03 while playing in a lower scoring era and trapped on a bad team with no other viable scoring options. If the league doesn't switch up the first round format for the first time that year, he would've knocked off the top seeded Pistons in the first round too.

Nash was slipping by 07 but I'd still lean his way. McGrady was a better floor raiser in 03 but Suns would've won the title in 07 with Nash as their best player if not for those suspensions. He also finished 2nd in MVP voting vs. McGrady was 4th in 03.

Both players should've better defence and the comparison would be on another level. Think about T-Mac with Dr.J defence, he's Lebron. And Nash would be better version of Curry.
For the thread, voted T-Mac. Nash is a bit behind of historic level while evaluate T-Mac's peak at the historic level. T-Mac was basically better than best regular season version of Kobe in the 2003 season.
