Sixers are searching for a top-25 player, and Maxey + Simmons can land one.

Ok fair enough. That makes some sense…but still easier said than done. Will definitely take an intricate 3 team deal. Regardless of Maxey and a late 1st or 2 I have a very hard time believing any team that is going to embark on a rebuild wanting the headache that is Ben and his max salary.

The only Raptors trade I would do is Simmons/Harris/Shake for FVV/Siakam/OG.

FVV/Maxey/Springer
Green/Curry/Joe
OG/Thybulle/Korkmaz
Siakam/Niang/Reed
Embiid/Drummond/Bassey

No top-25 player in that trade though.

I don’t like Siakam or FVV. I don’t think Morey likes them.

I believe we all have to understand he is searching for the 2nd star next to Embiid that can win title. Neither FVV nor Siakam are 2nd best players to Embiid on a championship team.

There is more chance that Morey trades both Simmons and Maxey for a real star like Beal or Shai then he trades Simmons for good players like Siakam and FVV.

if Morey looks at this team and decides that adding another medicore shooting, mediocre athlete 6'8 PF is the answer then he is beyond washed.

Siakham is a good player but the overlap is the issue the roster has now.

I don't mind Siakam here as long as Tobias is gone. He at least defends and gets to the free throw line. That's two big advantages over Mr Harris, and indicators of a reliable playoff contributor.
