Garza deserved more mins than the garbage time given. Game ended in the third.

How long will Weaver let this go on? I don't believe you can finish this season setting records for futility. It's one thing to lose 62 while competing hard and running smart offense and rational rotations. But this is so bad I don't see how Weaver can accept this at all. This is not young guys learning and being taught sound fundamentals, this is complete coaching incompetence and should not be tolerated. Tanking or not, incompetence should not be allowed to flourish in this organization.

It's not often you can say something with 100% certainty.

The Detroit Pistons are the worst team in the NBA.

and we arent sitting anyone or trading away our "talent" .. we are just flat out bad.
but in all honestly if our 2nd year players were playing like they were last season. we'd prolly have a few more wins than we do.

I mean only Bey is playing below his rookie season Stewart and Killian are pretty much the same and haven't progressed unfortunately.

The saving grace with this team is that the potential is there in all the young players, i.e. it's bad play vs. lack of talent/ability.

This season is making me feel like the Pistons will never be good again. This team is not just worse then last season, its several tiers worse then last year, after adding the #1 pick in the draft.

If the Pistons add another #1 overall pick again next year, will they start 1-21?

I'm actually laughing while typing this. I've been watching since 86-87(can never remember which)and this is the worst Pistons team I have ever seen. They have critically bad flaws(rebounding)without the personel to fix the problem. What's weird is that this is not the least talented Pistons team.

They just suck. It's growing to comical levels. You just can feel the collapse happening in real-time. Its the exact opposite of when you felt that 04' title team was ready to beat the crap out of their opponent. I use to call it "going surgical".

This team is a back ally doctor with a bottle of whiskey and a belt to bite down on.

Not much respect from Vegas or too much respect from Vegas?
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

man, Bey is really really struggling in his expanded role on offense. I get trying to experiment but at some point the negative outweighs the potential return surely.

For the past 1.5 months hes shooting 32% fg, and his 2pt % is down somewhere around 25-27%, his entire game (his defense) seems to have suffered by trying to force him into an offensive role he's either not ready for or not capable of.

I still have belief that he would make a good 4th or 5th option as a C&S 3pt shooter, but man, this is brutal. I wouldn't mind switching him and Diallo in the lineup to add at least some dynamism to the starters

JFC that 3rd quarter!
We got beat on the boards 60 to 38 I think it was.
Stewie was -21, not that anyone else was much better though.
We will never compete with these ridiculous Small-ball lineups Casey keeps pushing down our throats.

If your expecting Casey to make adjustments, or even hoping, I've got some bad news for you.

I'm at the point where wholesale changes to the starting lineup is needed, and I would start with Stewart, 100%. I love the kid, but he just can't get the rebounds that are critcal due to lack of size, and lack of athleticism.

Cade
Diallo
Grant
Stewart
Garza

There is no way that group can be worse then the current team structure, and it will address the immediate rebounding need.

I would also be fine with adding Pickett at the 4, instead of Stewart for added offensive punch.

This is just getting absurd.

Echoing Zeebneebs sentiments.
Nothing could be worse than where we are at. Get more bigs the minutes and push everybody down the lineup. Grant at SF, Bey or Diallo at SG, Stewart at PF, and get Garza in to help on the boards. Getting Olynk back from injury will be a patch as well.
Cade stays at PG as the only player Casey trots out that is not undersized for his position.
Screw this small-ball go big, we literally cannot get any worse.
Killian, the Jackson bros, Saben and Lyles can spot the starters one or two subs at a time. We don't need these rigid blanket whole unit substitutions leaving us with no-one that can even compete for an NBA rebound at their position like our current rotations leave us.

No matter what Casey says I'm concerned the youngsters could be getting used to losing. Olynyk's injury sure has been costly in terms of being more competitive. Most of our losses last season went down to the wire before the tank.
