I think it would be with the Pacers.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

One Myles Turner and one Brandon Ingram stat! Laid out the trades they are fine no one is getting fleeced......
Pels have actually a good inside running here. Remember it’s the Wolves they can mess it all up.
Boom next year Banchero or Smith pops up at the Pels well who would have thought lol

Also, a four way deal with Simmons to Minnesota, Russell to Nets, Kyrie to Miami and Lowry and Heat 1st Rounder and Minnesota 1st Rounder to Philly.
With both scenarios, there could be some picks and players added to balance the trade but those would be the main pieces. I'm also thinking that the team that gets Kyrie may want to get some commitment from Kyrie to an extension before signing off on the trade.
I would do a Simmons for Kyrie swap if Simmons ends up on a third team. Not sure why Brooklyn would do it though.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:
Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

Indy should want Ben to play with Myles as he’s a rim protector and floor spacer while Simmons/Brogdon is a serious backcourt
Sabonis is odd man out

I get the feeling that getting SGA in a Simmons trade is equivalent to Presti and Morey trading queens while playing 4d chess. That's if it's true (as people believe) that Simmons is Morey's last big trade chip. Well outside of SGA (minus picks?!?) then I guess Presti is in a similar boat. So IF we get SGA, he won't be the final piece, neither Simmons for OKC.

Agree that Ben happened to show for the Minny game for a reason. But Klutch is also publicly flirting with Popovich now as well. So I would just read it as assurances Ben will show up and play if someone will please save him from the meanies in Philly.
I would relish Minny straight caving after all that posturing, but wouldn’t bet on it.
Neither would I. It really seems that as much as the Wolves might want Simmons, it will be Edwards' team at some point. They want their cake and eat it, and hope to do it with a lot of draft capital and filler.
Unless Dlo is on the outs of the supergeeks friend group (Towns, Booker, Russell, Simmons), it's gotta be Edwards that gets moved.

I agree with the Turner/Simmons frontcourt making sense.
The problem is Sabonis sucks, and we of course would have no use for him.

Maybe OKC sends Shai to Philly for Ben, and then takes a Spurs package and sends Ben to San Antonio?

There are other teams who would take Sabonis in a heartbeat.

Minnesota (and Sacramento) seem to have dug their line in the sand on Ben to just scrubs and picks. So we’re moving right along unless something changes.

I know Kyrie is nuts and Ben is Ben.....but DLo doesn't belong in any sort of trade conversation with those two.

Ya'll know darn well you'd be mimicking his ice veins celebration in front of your tv each time he splashed a three if he was a Sixer. Give the man his due. He's incredibly skilled and would be an incredible fit with Embiid.
Look how much Korkmaz and Niang raise our offense. Now imagine a guy that brings that same gravity but can actually score off the dribble and put up 30% assist rate.

But who's the second cog. Siakam?
We'd need a lot of defending and athleticism to protect Russell, also his presence would commodify Seth and Maxey. He's a pretty good shooter and a talented passer - I don't mind his game, and him and Jo would boss the P&R, but he isn't a two option and we don't currently have that guy on this roster.

Would you trade 25-year-old Simmons for 37-year-old LeBron?
Maxey/Milton/Springer
Green/Curry/Joe
LeBron/Thybulle/Korkmaz
Harris/Niang/Reed
Embiid/Drummond/Bassey
NO...

Re: Simmons Trade Thread - The Ocho
We won't solve all of our roster issues in one fell swoop.
Russell is a good first shoe to drop. We get a PG with size that can score mid-to-high volume and absolutely sling it from three.
Then we work on offloading Harris.

I'd just convince myself that Russell is sorta like like Shai as long as you're squinting while watching him play, and then cry myself to sleep as we settle into that 3/4 seed, second round exit team until Jo's knees grind down like old brake pads.

It wouldn't be all that different than Giannis/Middleton. Khris and DeAngelo aren't all that different apart from 2 inches, 15 pounds, and a better brain. They have a lot of the same strengths and weaknesses on the basketball court. Milwaukee won a lot of games with those two and were competitive in the postseason while they waited for their chance to add a 3rd piece to put them over the top.
