I know people soured on him because of his vaccine stances or whatever, but he's an elite ball handler, scorer, and shot creator. You aren't going to get anyone with his skill package for Simmons.

And if worst comes to worst and he gets COVID, just send him to Dr. Rogan in Austin to get him healed up quick.

Kyrie has now missed a half season in back to back years because of personal reasons not related to an injury. Dude is damaged goods and not worth it.

Damaged good is a player who no longer has it physically. He has it physically, he's just out there.

Don't discount that Kyrie has had a million lower body injuries the last 4-5 years too. I'm not saying that he is damaged goods but you've got to factor in more than just his mental health.

Kyrie, just freaking no. We have one head case we are moving, the last thing we need is another one who is way more legit nuts than Simmons could possibly be. Completely unreliable, Sixers fans would eviscerate Kyrie and rightfully so.

Damaged goods is any player who does not suit up, either for physical, mental or just bat **** crazy reasons (a/k/a Kyrie).

If he doesn't get vaxed we could end up in the semi's facing Brooklyn and watching our team lose b/c Kyrie sits half the series. It would be insane to trade for him. Thank god you aren't our GM and Morey is.

When was your last Chip again, oh right the Raptors were not even in the league and I was 76ers DR J fan. When a chip before you open your mouth. Like you get rid of Butler to sign Harris to a max, nice move

Rough nights for both Sacto and San Antonio, and Murray and Fox and pretty much all of the starters on both teams. Funny as heck when their fans are coming here talking about their untouchable players. One is 11-16 and the other is 9-16, what is untouchable about that? Not like these are teams on the rise or something, or that either has a legit All-Star.

If I were the GM Simmons would've been gone long ago and the Sixers wouldn't be in this mess.

With Zion looking like he's going to be shut down for the year with that foot I wonder if that makes trading Ingram more realistic to embrace the tank.

Simmons to Minnesota -> Minnesota warchest + salary package to New Orleans -> Brandon Ingram to Philadelphia

Markelle Fultz is practicing again ... maybe we could trade Simmons for Fultz, Seems Legit... Maybe they'll throw in Isaac and we can get the Colangelos back and then we'll be all set baby.

Someone get me a Burner Phone, I'll ring them up straight away.

A-Rod was at the game last night. If nothing else, it makes other teams’ GMs more anxious that Minnesota may be in the driver’s seat. And if it’s something more than that, ARod might be on the phone right now with the other owners and the interim GM, going “I saw greatness last night in Matisse Thybulle. Give up Edwards? Give up four firsts and four swaps? Do what you have to do but make sure we get both Simmons and Thybulle,”
"I don’t wanna be Jordan, I don’t wanna be Magic, I don’t wanna be Bird or Isiah. I don’t wanna be any of those guys. When my career’s over, I''m gonna look in the mirror and say I did it my way.”- Allen Iverson

That's a start, but we still have to find a third team to give up the guy. And yeah, maybe if we throw in Maxey and a first of our own, OKC will give up Shai, but I'll believe it when I see it.

A-Rod's sure been spending a lot of time at WFC. Met with Ben and his reps and I'm sure the discussions between the Wolves and Morey have been ongoing for a while.

Wasn't the first report when Gupta came in was that he was going to "work his ass off to try to acquire Ben Simmons and has full authority to do so."

Edwards is coming home.

I will say if Morey tries to pass Russell off as a top 25 player I'll puke

Simmons is a sunk cost to me. So the way I look at it under your scenario, it’s Maxey-Thybulle-PHI 22 for the right to pry Shai out of OKC? In my book, it’s a no brainer. Minny coughs up the goods, we fill in the blanks, and everyone goes “wait, what the **** just happened” as Morey cackles in delight. Shai. Embiid. Make it happen.

This is the way I've looked at it since it was clear Simmons would never suit up here again. It's simply a matter of what we will have to give up from this group and our pool of picks, and Simmons is no longer part of that.
