GT: Nets @ Pistons 12/12- 6:00 PM

Post#1 » by Stone » Sat Dec 11, 2021 11:25 pm

The Pistons are coming into tomorrows nights game with the worst record in the league. Which I hope for them is a blessing in disguise. After all they have been a good trading partner with us.

There could be some lingering resentment on KD's part over the incident with Kelly Olynic last time we played them. Claxton looked good Vs the Hawks he needs to build on that. Killer Cam also finding himself playing decent minutes, our young guys are giving us the energy boost we sometimes need.

A little Motown.......

its been confirmed, harden out - rest.

Dont love this. Pistons are a layup. cant give up gimmie wins. load manage the 2 of them against philly or the nuggets.

that said, if harden is spent, rest him and matchups dont matter. but if this is performance team driven, there are better rest options coming up

Jerami Grant is out with torn ligaments in his thumb.

The Nets are going to have to move the ball tonight. I don't love the idea of Durant having to play 40 mins versus Detroit

Cut Carter and see what he has left. We can use microwave scorer with 2 unit.

...the ball movement is nice.

You know, I love Harden, but I can't help but notice we get into our sets quicker and guys are moving right now.

Kinda surprised Cam came in so early with KD on the floor. I would think he would fit best with this unit (taking out either Bembry or Brown) since we don't really have another ball handler aside from Patty.

This ^^

Although it didn't look so hot in the 2nd quarter. But no complaints were still up and KD already has 22.

I'm really worried for our players when this crazy azz Stewart playing. That guy is S. Will 2.0 ( old school NJ fans would know )

It's their playoffs and chance to showcase themselves. How often coaches and scouts will watch Pistons vs Rockets?

People said KD will have to score 50? Well make it 70, he got 45 already and we still not getting production from others consistently.

Durant has 5 fouls. If he fouls out we are screwed

Marks has got to do something to get another offensive piece on this roster.
