Knox had a 30-piece as a rookie.

RJ looked like a beast one of his first few games in the NBA.

I'm not gonna fall for the hype with Grimes until he shows some consistency.

But Grimes seems to have a nice stroke, and he moves well without the ball.

He does look small for a wing though. On top of that he looks like a mediocre athlete, and the off-the-dribble stuff appears very limited at this stage.

Hopefully he becomes a reliable 3-point shooter and a solid role player for us. That's all you can ask for from the 25th pick.

If anything, he should take some of Fournier's minutes and see the floor more regularly.

Great performance either way from the rook.

The Knicks Fans by default are getting at the FO by booing Randle. They letting them know it was a bad signing. Im sorry.... Randle is not special I have no sympathy for him.... It happened to players 10x greater on many a sports team in NYC. He is the only one who can change it. The Fans owe him nothing. Fans aren't Toxic. Randles style of play and weak mentally is what's toxic. Why should New York Coddle him. He not even a native NYer.

The whole point and what many of us have been saying is these guys need trial by fire. Developing guys in practice is bullchit, they need to get into the game.

He's got a nice stroke and his movements on offense are smooth but he lacks foot speed and lateral movement to be the defender Klay Thompson was/is.

We may need to include 2 1st rounders just to get rid of Fournier's contract.

It will be a stupid trade trying to move him for this price tag. Especially if we will tank the next season. Or at least remain as a play-in contender team.

The better approach is to try to trade him for a worse player in a shorter contract. Or stand pat and make him a tank commander. And hope for a significant performance improvement.
