Wolves shoot 40%, Trailblazers shoot 50%, Wolves lose by 22.

Looks like they get Dame back tonight. Missing CJ should give us the advantage. Dlo on minute restriction means less Leo which should help us (Leo has been very below average.) Beasley or V8, or MCD having a good game would really help. I think we win, but I think it will be closer than it should be given the injuries to the Blazers and the rust on Dame.

Are the Wolves actually going to try to win tonight? Would be good to see that, it's been awhile.

Will KAT ever stop taking himself out of the defensive scheme. He gets a poke away and then never resets, just standing by half court while the opposing big goes right to the basket. Meanwhile MCD decides to ball watch instead of picking him up. This isn’t poor scheme just lazy, sloppy, pathetic D.

I think we're looking much better tonight. Decent effort and some ball movement too. Towns impressive so far.

Towns is the only Wolve that doesn't have many bad nights.

Ever notice how when KAT sits out offense doesn’t really have any structure. Not that it is especially structured when KAT is in, but Dlo, Ant, Beasley, they don’t really seem to know what to do with it. Just sad, we still haven’t scored this quarter.

Games like this make me think Ant will be just another Wiggins.

McLemore making less than 1/5 of what Beasley makes when they couldn't be any closer to the same player.

This is why you can't have between zero and one veteran rotation players on the roster every season. Like KAT's bbiq has stagnated hard. Half the guys on the team are barely sentient. The team passing as a whole has got to be the worst in the league.

Almost every other team in the league has enough common sense to have a handful of key veterans in their rotation to keep things looking semi-competent, but we threw a bunch of young noobs out there and expected them to learn good habits out of thin air.

Ha! They are similar! I never really looked at it that way.

10 years ago or so when McLemore was drafted I thought he had a chance to be really good. It never happened. He's been a big disappointment overall.

Beasley is younger, was playing very well right after joining us. A lot of the Wolves contracts are based on potential rather than performance. Instead of growing into what we envisioned for him Beasley has fallen off a cliff with not just his 3 point shooting, but his 2 point shooting as well. Beasley is supposed to be more than he is.

Edwards/Russell/McDaniels/Beasley: 22 FGA. 17 of those are threes. Whenever we get the stats about how big the FT discrepancy is between MN and the opposition, it kinda makes sense.

I think my three favorite teams are 0-for-December.

I could really use a victory tonight.

That is the most stupid foul by Towns ever on the 3 pt shooter. What the hell is he thinking?? Then he argues about it. Now he has 4 fouls on him.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
