Also peak second season Saric >>> Harris

Check the shooting 3PA, 3PAR + etc. better for us one stage I remember he was a dead eye for quite awhile that year. I miss that team so fun where did it all go

I find it very hard to believe that Morey doesn’t recognise the problem that his contract represents

I love that some live in a parallel reality thinking that he is a third banana on a championship team haha, yeah maybe he could be a third banana in a team lead by prime Lebron and Steph Curry, but many NBA players could be that. He needs to be gone if we want a whiff at ECF, let alone a title lol. He is like Melo, when Melo thought he was still a star in Houston for example, but would have done better in a role off the bench, he is a younger but less talented and "great lockeroom presence" version of Melo. I think Morey is waiting for his contract to be more tradeable because he wants to win something good back in that trade, but it is a double edged sword since Maxey and others could grow more with him gone.

How does the 04-05 piston team do with Joel replacing sheed? 3x champs? Prime Melo might have argument to start in that starting 5, but probably not rookie melo or peak tobi.

Tobias isn't doing this in a big game on 2K let alone the real world.

Saric was a fantastic offensive fit with our unit, but let's not forget he was one of the worst defensive players on the roster and he got ate up on the boards. It was like watching Niang at the PF spot for 30 minutes a night.

That team had all the future in front of it.

This team… not so much. One step away from washed.

It’s was such a fun first two years. Yes they could be super frustrating (Covington should never be the inbounder lmao) but it was very much in a loving way. The Butler move next year ended in heartbreak but the optimism was at an all time high.

Fav setup besides the starters and JJ spam was the full inter squad with Ilya the professional hitman, Drunk Beli and Simmons small ball run and gun.

I swear JJ and Beli were having bets before the game on who would take the hardest shots.

The years that’s followed after Butler left has left me loosely following them now. It’s just I dunno the feeling isn’t there anymore. It’s replaced with animosity when that happens I step away and leave the emotional attachment and go somewhere else.

Nugs/Suns/Hornets last year and Cavs this year so much easier styles to watch and it’s exciting again.

Niang >>>> Tobithus. Dude Saric was like my second whipping boy watching after Roco but man it was out of love not out anything else lol.

Simmons
JJ
Roco
Saric
Embiid

Mcconnell
Drunk Beli
Ilya
Holmes

Second best iteration after Butler but damn it was the most fun.

For sure man, they just need to attach four FRPs + swaps and it’s a deal.

Edit: ooops. This is the Tobias trade thread… :D

Unless they are destroying the locker room, why would Sac do that?

If they are destroying the locker room, why would we want them?

They have been on the block for months, are coming off the bench and the team was thrashed by the Raptors today

Kings need a massive overhaul

Gotta give it to you - you are determined to move Ben and Tobi out of here in one fell swoop. Damn, wouldn't that be great?

Knicks:
Tobias Harris
Thybulle

Reason:
Randle with better contract with Tobi. Thibs would love Thybulle.

Sixers:
Julius Randle
Kemba Walker
Obi Toppin

Reason:
Solves size and scoring issue. Randle better scorer than Tobi, can also grab boards and is more physical to solve size issue. Kemba gives us a go to option down the stretch. Possibly 6th man Kemba

Raptors:
Tobias Harris
Thybulle
Jaden Springer

Reason:
Siakam’s value has decrease with Raps adding Barnes. Raps have enough length to max out Tobi while adding a couple of 1st round caliber players

Sixers:
Siakam

Reason:
Siakam can shoot some 3 and punish smaller defender. Embiid can also space the floor for Siakam to operate.
Siakam and Embiid can both step out and rotate to protect the rim.
