Lawler's Law!!
The Clipper fan understands the Book of Exodus better than anyone... what it's like to struggle 40 years in the wilderness... and Genesis.. why Cain went after Abel... So fLakers, look out... we're coming.

You love to see it, especially against a team as insufferable as the Suns.

All the guys loved that scrambling dribbling with the ball into a fadeaway by Morris a couple of plays ago

Good game - not gonna lie, thats one of the most impressive wins I've seen. Yall beat the **** out of CP3 all game, and he looked pretty old.
Clippers at full strength to me are a bigger threat than the Warriors are.
I'm surprised more coaches haven't tried to let a guy like Terrance Mann beat the **** out of CP3 all game with Booker out.

OK, so Suns were down a couple key guys.. .we were down THREE key guys.. but our second tier folks crushed their second tier folks.
Was embarrassed for CP3 to see him pull out his phony sweep the arms foul move, like he was going to take over the game about the 7 minute mark in the 4th. Then he bricked a shot shortly after.
A really good win. Now let's give Utah a black eye!

We turned it around last season when Ty pulled the starters against Atlanta and made a comeback. Also got a few nice wins without Kawhi&PG.
Starting to get some similar vibes now. PG (also Batum) clearly needed some rest (hopefully nothing serious with that elbow), and everyone else was able to step up in his absence.
I'm really curious about the Ibaka situation. Could've used him last playoffs, but how much will he be able to contribute a year or two from now? Are Zu/Hart enough for the rotation?
There's definitely plenty of money that can be moved, but not a lot of assets to throw in for a decent return. Really don't want to part with any rookies so soon.
All I know is that I don't see us ending this season with
all of Ibaka/Bled/Winslow still on our roster. Was about to throw Morris' name in there too, before his recent resurgence gave me pause. Will our FO be cold-blooded enough to sell high on him while they can?
Exciting times.

Great team win tonight. Mann and Kennard are starting to look like the players we hoped they'd be going into the season. Zu, Hart, and Mook played well also. When PG comes back he needs to have the ball in hands less. I think the west is going to wind up being wide open post all star break. If we can stay relatively healthy and covid free we're a top 4 seed. Utah up next and injuries or not you know were not afraid of them no matter what

Zu was a monster. Mann and and Jackson were everything we needed them to be. But my game ball goes to Morris. He looks healthy. Let’s hope he can stay that way.

Some of the shots Mook was hitting
Mann and Kennard have been stepping up. If they can continue this and be more consistent, this team will have a lot of weapons they can go to. Kennard being the guy you can't leave open at all, and Mann being the shot of adrenaline with his energy and all around game. Reggie, when he doesn't go full space cadet mode, shows he can be a solid starting point guard, and can score from both inside and outside.
I also like the center rotation with Zu being the more typical slow and plodding C, and Hart being the more agile, quick C, with his underrated passing and that nice little flip/floater of his. Not sure how Ibaka is going to fit into the picture, but the more options, the better.
Nice little 4 game win streak. Utah will be a tough match. Hope they continue the momentum and have a competitive game.

if only we could transfer some of hartenstein's agility to zubac lol
still can't figure out where the dude came from. he makes a lot of errors still and fouls too much, but he moves so well that i think with some work and development he can turn into a legit force on defense.
agree about mann and kennard. add in hartenstein (and of course zubac and boston) and i think the team's youth squad is in great shape. really, really have to give credit to the front office for consistently finding diamonds in the rough with little more than a hope and a dream. like, if the team came out and told us today "yeah, pg, batum, morris, and reggie are out for the rest of the season" we couldn't even be mad because we'd have a really exciting squad to watch develop for a ton of games.
also yeah, morris was pretty awesome. this team can really turn into something formidable, we just need everyone back and healthy (and that's not even considering kawhi). right now it's a bunch of moving parts all trying to figure themselves out. give us 10-15 straight games together and let us build something special.

I agree that this team is more fun to watch without PG. PG often stagnates the offense and either takes terrible shots or commits TOs. Lue needs to find a way to incorporate PG more without the ball in his hands so much.

Except for a 2-point turkey vs the Magic on Saturday, he's scored 17+ in the other 5 of the last 6 games. I can't remember a stretch like this since he got here. He's even been hitting the boards, @ 5.5 rpg--much better than his average as a Clipper of 4.2. Assists are up too.
I won't be surprised if we hear from Morris this is the best he's felt physically since he became a Clipper.

Zu and Big Hart vs. Kaman and DJ (from their best Clipper season together) in 2-on-2... dribbling/shooting/passing counts... who wins?
Return to Los Angeles Clippers
