The Clippers make a lot of sense for me. My first thought is Ross, Orlando's 2022 SRP for Ibaka and the next available Clippers FRP - top 15 protected.

But this takes the Clippers even further over the tax. If LAC is being honest with itself, it will accept that Marcus Morris has negative value as a starter. In that, if there is a straight cash dump, then Ross and the TPE for Morris and Ibaka helps LA financially. Orlando could add its 2022 SRP, as Orlando seems to not value such picks and LAC will need cheap depth moving forward.

i would assume they would rather take Gary Harris or TPE for Morris for salary realief, since Kawhi probably is done for a year and there is nothing they can actually do /win this year.

Yeah Keon is the same age as Ivey and would probably be having the same type season if he stayed one more year.

I'd trade them Ross for Keon if they could make the contracts work.

But what if they don't? Ibaka will not get playing time. He can either be a professional and provide practice squad minutes to help F-Wagner refine his game, or sulk in the corner until his contract runs out - ensuring he will have completed his professional basketball journey.

So, Orlando now has the worst points differential in the NBA. With 7 players currently out and a not-very favourable schedule, I expect Detroit to overtake the Magic in wins fairly soon.

Some relevant stats in this:
Orlando is 29th in the league in FG-made differential (opponents make on average 4.3 more FGs per game).
____That is not because of attempts as, ....
Orlando is 29th in the league in FG% differential (oppenents on average are shooting 4.1% better per game).
Orlando is 27th in the league in three pointer differential per game (-1.3 per game).
Orlando is 28th in the league in three pointer FG% differential per game (-3.9% per game).

So, Orlando is horrible at shooting and not that great at defending the shot.

And also - more bad news:
Orlando is 29th in the league in assist differential (-4.1 per game).
Orlando is 29th in the league in steals differential (-2.2 per game).
Orlando is 29th in the league in TO differential (+2.6 per game; this is actually an improving number).



In conclusion: Orlando's offensive strategy is not working at all.
