I like Mobley no doubt but if I have to rate positions by importance, point guards and wings are 1 and 2. There is a reason to all this madness going about with wings getting 20 million a year and they can't even put up 20 points a game.

I'm too sentimental

It's not that I think Mobley is worth more than Doncic, especially when he's under contract for 4 more years at 90 per, it's that if I did it, I'd be the budget Pacers from a year ago, and with Mitchell needing an extension, free agency is off the table for quality pieces, and I'd give up 1sts

I don't trust my ability to moneyball it.

completely fair. You drafted a stud that has the potential to be generational if the offense follows his defense. Can't blame you for holding your cards.

And you already have defensive concerns with Garland/Spida...Mobley has the potential to make up for all of that manning the interior.

He really is. I hate losing is the bottom line. I am not delusional and think I should win championships every year. But I do think I should field a winning team. My team sucks right now so changes are imminent.

I ain’t mad at Buzz for holding his team to high standards. I actually respect him caring about winning this much. That Indy team was predicted to win a chip by now. They’ve been called a dynasty since day 1. Yet they’ve underperformed every year. Whether Luka stays or goes, Sometimes you gotta switch it up. I believe Buzz will be patient and do what’s best for the franchise. Gotta love BAF!

I think its obvious my team is lacking. Its also obvious they were lacking last season finishing as a 6th seed. This SIM is weird in that how players fit seems to be more important than how good they are. I think Detroit is the perfect example of that fit theory. I will get a decent package and I can wait until things change on the 15th.
