Durant is questionable too tonight w/ soreness.

I wonder if the NBA is gonna postpone their games. Brooklyn plays 3 more times this week before we resume our season Sunday vs the Lakers. It could be big in terms of seeding missing all those players. We're somehow still 2nd in the East as of this morning lol.

The issue I am thinking about is how contagious the new variants are. It will most likely have a huge negative impact if this snowballs out of control.

Seems like they aren't nearly in the same boat as us.

I think when you have five guys on your team in it, it's time to take a 3 day pause to make sure you don't have late blooming asymptomatic cases that will cause continual outbreak, and if not you have no new positives, then you resume.

That said, they're below my 5 limit, and the NBA's limit seemed to be much higher since we had to get to 10 before they canceled our games.

Does anyone agree now going forward the NBA should use our example and set a new policy regarding cancellations?

They should postpone Nets games OR test everyone in their organization.

We're moving up in the standings without playing. Maybe by Saturday, we'll be #1 in the East.

Y’all are terrible… but seriously I feel a bit bad for laughing at this.

So what are the symptoms? May include believing you can fly and taking things personally? :P

The current infections are likely Delta. Omicron will take over in a month or two and may well generate another round of infections.

Keys to make a deep playoff push will be:

1. Every Bulls players sign up for all booster shots 3-4 weeks before the playoff
2. Every Bulls players seek out Omicron and Delta Covid Parties 4-8 weeks before the playoff

That way, every Bulls player will be super immune to the virus in order to prevent any man down during our playoff run.

That's what they say; hope not. These positive tests are happening out of nowhere way too fast after a large round of boosters and double vaccinations, and the current US infections seem to be reporting more mild reactions than when delta was first reported, which kind of matches some of the reports on omicron? I know an older guy who has long covid now and had a rough time back in the spring of this year; got hit with the delta variant. It was around earlier than the "delta wave" was reported to first hit America. Unless this is just a mutation of delta.

I'm just speculating, but why exactly would a strain detected first in South Africa travel to Europe so much faster than America? We have tons of people traveling in every direction, and airports and travelers are a web, not a 2-way port. I'd imagine all these mutations and variants are crossing paths. The only patients' really studied are the ones with severe cases or deaths; the standard tests don't test for the variants as far as I know, so I'm certain there just isn't enough data to prove one way or another which dominant variant is passing around at this exact moment.

So they've already pushed the time back for Sundays Lakers/Bulls game from 2:30 pm CST to 7:00 pm CST to give the Bulls some more recovery time. Hopefully no one else from the Laker's tests positive; we'll see what happens.

They’re preventing our COVID team from hitting the LA night clubs and ravaging their city. Slick move.

CDC says Omicron is only 3% of the cases in the US at this point. And rising.
