Nevermind basketball. I hope LMA will be alright. Goddamn it

Protocol i believe is contact tracing, not necessarily a positive test. hopefully he doesnt have it. breakthough for vaccinated individuals is still rare. and i dont know for sure but LAM doesnt seem like the go clubbing unmasked after the game type either

Are they still doing that with vaccinated players? I thought it was pretty much close contacts that are vaxed didn’t need to quarantine anymore only if they show symptoms. So this means they tested positive or are symptomatic

Marks and Tsai really need to consider it. My head hurts when I start thinking about Kyrie, it's not healthy.

Only reason that clown considering to come back is new contract. Don't get it twisted, he will demand one before new CBA will kick in. He already started civil war among Nets fans, think he cares about team? Some of you need to wake up.

Got 7 players available, just enough  one more and game would've been postponed.

All four picks would be playing tonight. Edwards is very intriguing player. His D NBA ready imo, how his offense will look is something to watch for.

Lol btw Bruce brown has that commercial about the vaccine. Thought that ironic. But that being said the J&J shot not doing so well. Assuming they all got that. Missing half the team.

Also want to say if you are Kyrie and looking at this what’s the point. These guys got vaxed and all tested positive.

The vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting the virus. It primes your immune system to be able to fight the virus off without putting you in the hospital or the morgue.

Also, we are now dealing with a very highly transmissible new strain of the virus, so it is going to cause Breakthrough infections. As long as everyone is asymptomatic or mild, the vaccine is working as intended.

If one more Net was in the protocol, JUST ONE, this game would be postponed.

We're down to 8 players (three rookies), and that's the minimum allowed.

If we were down to 7, the game would have to be canceled.

Yes I know what the vaccine does. And not meaning to get into a vaccine convo here. Yes I’m vaxed.

Just pointing out the argument people like Irving can use when vaxed people get covid anyway. So why restrict the non vaxed. The whole team is vaccinated. So it didn’t prevent the spread. So what’s the difference if Irving is there or not. While i still think he should get the shot I also understand the thought process on this mandate.

Am I the only one who suspects China unleashed this virus on purpose, for a variety of reasons?

Is it really a stretch? After-all, we're referring to an ideology (Communism) that killed approximately 100M of their own people in the 20th century, which is not antiquity, but the lifetime of your grandparents. Heck, the Maoist cultural revolution killed around 40M themselves. So why would we out this past them?

We are officially screwed. 10 days then you have to ramp them up to play again. Unreal. BTW Kyrie looking at this should be more motivated to get the vaccine to make sure he recovers. This virus spreads like a wildfire.

The only silver lining here is getting our players through this earlier will offer a better chance they won’t get reinfected later in the season when the games really count. There is better protection after actually getting the virus and being vaxed helps you not suffer permanent damage from getting seriously ill. Like hospitalized level sickness. Here’s something to chew on - 90 percent of hospitalized covid cases are unvaccinated.

Straight up bull. Not only are we compromised competitively, there's also a chance that the Raptors could be exposed if there are any of our players playing tonight if the virus hasn't manifested itself yet (hopefully not). The league's health and safety protocols are a joke.
