He's reclaiming the name.

This is bad.

I think the league needs a good two week shutdown. Between Thanksgiving exposure, the infection level of the omicron variant and the pending Christmas and New Years exposures this is gonna get dicey.

I don't think it will help. Omicron is about to blow up.

We clearly need to go back to the old protocols. Daily test, masks, distancing.

Yep. I've been calling it for a while... There will be growing pains but the energy they bring is great. Plus they're actually able to get out and run and get ready baskets... For the sake of managing minutes alone it's idiotic to not give them run...

What was the point of drafting all these guys if we never play them?

Milsap and Carter have both been terrible. I'd rather give the rooks some minutes.

You draft all these rookies because it was a deep draft, we had picks & we don't have picks in future years. You draft them for what they will do for you on cost controlled deals in years 2-4, not this year.

Next year, we're likely to lose Millsap, Griffin, Claxton and Brown. We'll have a difficult time retaining Mills & LMA. That's when you're looking for these rookies to step up and contribute.

But man, Edwards and Duke. Whew. Duke needs to stop being scared to shoot threes, because he was a monster on defense and on loose balls. 10pts 13rebs 3asts 2stls 2 blks for Duke.

Edwards with 17pts 10rebs 3asts 2stls with 3/6 3pt FGs. Three and D.

Hard not to be excited that we have some interesting young prospects that know their roles.

Great **** Edwards!

This was a really fun game. I'm glad we got the win because the young kids deserved it. Really keeps us going on a high note. Even short handed i think this was our game to take... raps also a bit short handed and 2nd of a back to back on the road. my thoughts...

1) This game just shows you how far just having some athletes on the court can go... we can talk about defense, rebounding, floor spacing but really our 1 hole in our rotation is athleticism. We got in transition, we got second chances, we got a ton of dunks, we didnt allow a ton of easy points.

2) We dont win without Duke Jr's offensive rebounds. they almost all led to huge shots to keep us in it, tie it, or extend leads. he was huge and hit clutch FTs at the end

3) Kessler edwards, of all the rookies, is the guy i think id put in the rotation if were looking to infuse some youth. he has the height and the athleticism. Thomas is probably the better player/pro with a better longer career but for this team we need that pogo stick and we need a guy who can hit threes. Love cams confidence and aggressiveness but hard to play him with how bad he is shooting... similar to blake earlier this year

4) Sharp played like a grown man. hard to see him get minutes with 100 other centers, but he plays big

5) Claxton continues to work his way back in a big way. may steal the starting role if LMA is out long enough.

6) If we lose in regulation, KD is the goat of this game. missed a bunch of big wide open shots, some wide open threes. it goes to overtime and he has 8 points and a block and some rebounds and gets us the W. huge turnaround there.

It will be interesting to see what the NBA does. basically everyone in the league is going to have to enter protocols. these guys all sweat and breath on eachother for 48 minutes. a 2 week pause over the holidays makes sense. of course when Kyrie maybe comes back, the league has to shut down. :banghead:

the next 2 are also games where we play a team on the 2nd of a back to back on the road. we should be favored in both, even with te current roster. if KD plays, we should win those

Nash not taking a timeout during a 15-3 raps run was criminal

LOL

I really don't like him either, but it takes big onions to tell him that right after he compliments you.

But he's right, Skip is a front-runner. This week KD is the best player in the world. Next week it will be LeBron.

It's always been my opinion that KD, not LeBron, is the best player in the world since both were in the NBA.

And when all is said and done, I already know KD is going to rank higher on my ALL-TIME GREATS list.

Great win and tremendous job by the rookies. KD with a triple double MVP. Night in and night out the whole team shows up no matter who's out there . Blake finally got his shot back. Patty with a light 30 and more clutch shots.

Edwards is the exact small forward I've been preaching we needed since this last year. I been saying we need a 3 and a legit 6'7-6'8 small forward that can play defense, Edwards is that guy. I know it's one game, but he does everything we need and he has a knack for the ball. I been saying we needed a 3 because KD is a 4 now, And Edwards and KD switching on defense looks so great. Sharpe looked good too. Duke plays fine defense but needs to knock down those 3s. These look like some nice little finds from Marks again.

I say Patty. The youngsters gave us life, and Durant was otherworldly, but Mills just came up with so many huge treys.
