Who Deserves More Minutes?

Post#1 » by HairyGOATee » Mon Dec 13, 2021 11:25 pm

Who On This Team Deserves More Minutes?

I'd give more to Maxi and even Trey Burke.

I'd consider giving more to Josh Green since Reggie Bullock hasn't been hitting his shots. If Bullock doesn't make his shots, then might as well play Josh Green some just for his athleticism.

Oh, and let's give Bobi a solid 5-10 every other night or something like that. Moses can play on the nights where Bobi is out.

Moses should get all of WCS’s minutes and should get at least half of Powell’s minutes. I also agree that if Bullock isn’t hitting his shots there’s no reason he should be on the floor over Green.

I'd give way more to Maxi and way less to Reggie Bullock (stats FG3% = 28.3 which is crazy low number). I will also trade Reggie Bullock for For chips and bet365 popcorn.

The opposite question of who should have LESS minutes? Dwight Powell and Kristpas Porzingis

I'd roll with Burke for the next games next to Luka, he's small, quick, can be utilized as a primarily small guard defender, Bullock needs to sit until he figures out how to play.

Burke
DFS
Luka
KP
Powell

I don't understand why Green plays less minutes than Reggie useless Bullock (and maybe DFS too).

He is clearly yet our best backcourt defender, ok he is a ghost on offense but the others 2 are the same.

For a nowhere team like us it's important let the kid grown.

Honestly, KP has been fine. He's the team's 2nd best player.

That's really not saying much given how the team has performed. He should be that, he's getting a max salary.

Green, then Moses. But really it's either for me.

We need to know what we have in these guys and they will only improve with experience. Equally can pump trade value ahead of the deadline*

For sure. And upgrading over him would be nice, but I think they should look to upgrade where they have bigger weaknesses. Right now, it's clear that the C and wing rotations are kind of off, so need to figure those out. I wouldn't mind moving KP back to C and starting Kleber at the 4, but guys like Richaun Holmes, Jusuf Nurkic, or even Jakob Poeltl would be nice gets for the Mavs.

Jeremy Lamb and Terrence Ross for the wing would be solid too, but they would only help so much. The Mavs need a legit starting wing. DFS is cool, and I think THJ should start, but Bullock, Green, and Sterling Brown are meh at best.
