Last day to vote for the best 15 Celtics players of all time. It's pretty fun and I think you can win tickets to game or something.

That clip goes with what Comedian was saying. Simple plays. They could get shots like that for each other all game long.

Yes, and plays like this we have seen many times since tatum entered the league in 2017.

Thing is, the offense/ball movement was stagnant a lot during 2019-2020 and especially in 2020-2021. Then this season, there's been some challenges adjusting to new coach, new system, tatum was in a shooting slump, jaylen had some challenges recovering from COVID then jaylen hamstring injury.

Hopefully last night's game can be the start of us getting this thing back on track.

So why don't they do it more often? Rooting for the current Celtics team is like being married to a spouse who only wants to have sex once a week. The sex on that one day is great, but then she treats you like absolute sh*t the other six days. Let's have a little consistency please?

Sure, they look great against the Blazers on Dec.4 and then look like crap until they beat the Bucks on Dec. 13.

There is a case this team just needs time to gel and that Brown and Tatum just need time to grow into better "playmakers." That was the single thing Ime set as a goal for them when he took over.

The other argument is that they're not compatible and that Brown, at least, isn't going to be able to level up. Or that they're growing too slowly and we can't afford to wait for and bet on Jaylen getting there.

I mean, that's a 42-45 win team. That's what a 45 win team looks like. Lot of us pegged them as that going in.

Where's Yam Madar in all this? Can we bring him over midseason after a Schroeder trade? He could unlock our offense, be our Steve Nash or Zach Lavine

I don't believe we can bring him over mid season. I just don't think it works like that with international draft and stash players. Pretty sure we'd have to wait till beginning of next season and see if he earns a roster spot.

What, why? Are they on a European scouting trip? They didn't fly all the way to Serbia to watch him play one game.

From what I've heard, our scouts make multiple trips to Europe each season. So this is one of them. Get in in person look at Madar in game action, I'm sure they also talked to him in person after the game too to build the relationship, let Madar know that he is still on their radar and part of the celtics organization.

I also heard there was another game played that same night in the same gym right after Madar's game - where Mega Mozzart was playing. Mega Mozzart has 3 players who could possibly get drafted in 2022, so i'm sure Stevens and Ainge stuck around to scout that game too..

That makes sense. I'd just like some Brad sightings at our games

He obviously still helps us win games with everything he does, but hard to deny his struggles putting the ball into the basket (incl. in 4th Qs) is one of the major reasons why we're only barely above .500.

Spoiler:
Last season's chart was sexy af... (sans the midrange thing)

Ime is smart and experienced enough not to focus on any individual's shooting slump in his public comments as long as they keep improving in the important areas and they continue to play the right way. Process over results. But Tatum just being a bit above average shooting-wise would do wonders for our blah offensive rating and W-L record.

His improved shooting has yet to translate to more wins 'cos our defense let us down esp in the road trip, but it's really NICE to get this version of Tatum back. Hoping he sustains it through the rest of the season.

Pretty much no other player in the league putting up the numbers he is on such a team-friendly contract. But yay to being able to trade him?

Hmm, if this is what the Nets 2-way players are doing, maybe we should give Hauser and/or Thomas a shot?

BJ Boston was called up from g-league right before he torched us with the clippers, too..

The Raptors have Champagnie and Flynn getting minutes for both their g-league team and the big club..
