Trying to find Buddy teams. Kelly O+filler from the Pistons? Nuggets with Barton+? Wolves upgrading Beasley? Hart from the Pelicans? Is saving salary/years enough for the Kings? How much do other teams value Buddy?

Jerami Grant + Kelly O for Hield + Bagley works but dont know if the Kings would take this deal

1 less year than Hield but an extra two years at 11-12M for KO

Nah, that's terrible for the Pistons. Grant has actual value.

He's regressed, the team is the worst team in the league, and is currently out for at least 2 months.

Next season his value drops even further as he will be an expiring contract.

The Pistons best chance to get max value was last season and that ship has sailed. The supposed "12+ teams interested in Grant" is nothing more than Weaver doing his best to get what he can in any trade.

Also Weaver has lost pretty much every trade, resigned Casey, and has had some more than questionable off-season moves so to expect some huge return is unlikely

It's not even close for DET. Grant may have regressed, but he's a much better player than Hield (who is the picture of regressing year in and year out) and Bags has shown nothing.

7 to 1 is just to get some of that Laker money that Vegas needs to balance the books. In real life I think it is close to 50-1 unless the lakers do the unthinkable and break AD into less assets.

I would imagine the Lakers will have higher hopes for THT and that they’d sit on him for a year or two rather than deal him for a known, but limited, player, even if they could help a decent amount.

I think even with his terrible shooting, THT brings back a clear rotation player. What about something like Malik Beasley and a 2nd rounder for THT? Wolves might even start THT as they have so little at forward and the Lakers get a proper shooter and a pick they can move for someone like Muscala or Kenrich.

Makes a ton of sense. Acquire the 3rd star and then worry about fit later. Doesn't even matter if it's another wing, just another guy on that level and then look to make moves to optimize the roster thereafter.

Swapping Brown for another star doesn't make a ton of sense since you're unlikely to get a better player. Breaking him down for parts is just a step back and you'll soon be asking what pieces you'd have to put together to land a "Jaylen Brown" type player.

Gotta try to get lucky going in for a guy like Simmons/Sabonis/Beal either direct or in a 3 team deal that lands you the star for your picks/swaps/rookie scale guys package.

C's are realistically going to have to do a Nets-like package of picks/swaps, but unfortunately their stars are young enough that it's hard to sell those later picks as potentially being decent lottery tickets.
