if it's true that there's no interest in Kemba b/c of his knees.....begs the question: did the Knicks even perform a physical?

if his knees are that bad, how could they have given him 2 years

The Denver Nuggets are looking for upgrades on the wing, according to league sources. It appears JaMychal Green is available to that end.

Can I interest you in an Alec Burks for your 2022 1st?

some surprises:

#13 Rose
#26 Burks

.

#249 Randle (out of 250)

we can't trade Rose this season but Burks IMO would be a solid trade chip. maybe get a similar return as the Marcus Morris deal

you can get 1st rounders for those 2. and you certainly should do that.

i don't totally buy into this stat. it is interesting though, of qualified players, rose is 1st, burks is 2nd, and then....wait for it...iq & mitch are 3rd and 4th
the worst 3 - randle, fournier & rj in that order......hello everyone...a very good afternoon to you all

Any advance metric at face value needs context behind it. RAPTOR equally weighs offensive and defensive impact when we know a really good offensive player is way more valuable they a good defensive player. That is why someone like Alex Caruso can make the top 10 but Demar Derozan is 22. That is not saying that Caruso is more important to the bulls than Derozan because obviously being able to put the ball in the basket is more important than an Invidia defender.

However its much more valuable then simple box score plus minus stats because it weighs you impact on your team on and off the floor too. So no surprise our starters all suck and guys mainly coming off the bench are high because our bench has been the only thing good about this team.
4-Peat! 22-25 BAF Champion Spurs:

ROSTER

Walker Kessler/Daniel Gafford/Adem Bona
Nikola Jokic/Santi Aldama/Isaiah Stewart
Aaron Nesmith/Josh Hart/Jaime Jaquez
Alex Caruso/Keon Ellis/Justin Champagnie
Steph Curry/Chris Paul/Ryan Rollins

So no one wants to talk about how the NBA was the canary for the first Major Covid outbreak, and now the players keep either getting sick or exposed to sick people but games are still being played in packed arenas….

Legit heinous to think how bad this team would be without Rose. They were a lotto team without him last year, and a lottery team this year with him so far.

Send them Evan Fournier.

The Nuggets drafted him and he spent his first two NBA seasons there. He should have never left. It's time for Fournier to go back home.

we can't trade Rose until the offseason but yeah they should when he's eligible. Burks should be out too, he's got value for any contender. play the youth, stop blocking Deuce and Grimes. we're on our way to a top 10 pick anyways, might as well get there w/ young players and improve our odds

hold up - why do we have to wait until the offseason to trade Rose?

TradeNBA.com says this:

Derrick Rose cannot be traded until March 3rd because he re-signed using Bird rights with a 20% raise in salary and the Knicks are over the cap.

There are right now 12 teams with a +50% campaign. The Knicks will not play against a single 0,5+ campaign team for the next 14 games. And they will play against only one 0 5+ campaign team in the next 17 games (Hornets 15th game).
We will play 7 times against an exactly 50% campaign team in that timeframe (Celtics- 3 times, Atlanta twice, Dallas e Wizards).

That stretch of games will decide our goals in this season. There are winnable games (for better or worse). I think we will decide then if we will be buyers or sellers this season.
