Game Thread, G29: Nuggets at Hawks, 12/17/2021

The 2nd unit with Lou and Gallo is all ISO and it's killing us.
Another season and we still need a capable backup to Trae.
And what the heck is wrong with Huerter.

1. Bench Lou and give Cooper his minutes
2. Give Cam more minutes than TLC
3. Give Johnson some minutes over TLC

^I’d consider starting Delon Wright at SG and Huerter at SF. He’s a solid on ball defender and secondary playmaker.

I would not be opposed....but Nate is stubborn with his rotations.

Hyland and Facu got us good. Aren’t they backup pg’s? Comon Lou, man, I almost kind of wish last year was his retirement tour. And Gallo, I understand shooters shoot but I’m not sure it’s worth you (Gallo) getting hot for a week at the expense of the rest of the Hawks being out of rhythm. Gallo and Lou.. Wright.. comon people!

Where is Brandon Goodwin? We could use a little heart.

told y'all that TLC was friggen horrible. I'd rather just play with 4 on offense and have him just stay on the other end of the court. What I'd really rather is that the Hawks never signed that bum, that's what I've been saying since the summer.

The largest lead we held in the game was three points.

Denver had 60 points in the paint, Hawks 58.

We had thirty four FT attempts but shooting 24% from three killed us. Denver shot 45% from three and went to the FT line sixteen times less.

Actually, Facu is 3rd string PG when Murray is healthy and so is Bones at SG when PJ is healthy, Malone just has to play Bones because he is already one od the best from our bench even in his rookie year which is crazy
