Which is one of the reason Garza ends up nailed to the bench. He's slow for a center. If we switch everything, he ends up on guards over and over. All our bigs do, but he's by far the slowest. Of course, it's Casey's job to actually run an offense and defense that put players in a position to succeed. Not imaginary ideal players, but the actual humans on our roster.

Casey would probably respond saying he doesn't want a system that's too complicated for young players so he basically just runs no system at all.

The other night Kink on YouTube said he saw Killian toss his thumb band away out of frustration. It's obvious it is still hurting his shot, not to mention his steals have gone down since the injury as well. But some continue their persecution of him and won't even mention his shooting hand injury.

hayes' play has been the same it's always been but luckily he grimaces, holds his hand and shakes it every few possessions to remind me that's why he's not playing better.

Look at his 3 point percentage since the injury as well as his steals. No doubt it is having a bad effect.

Killian primarily plays shooting guard on one of the worst teams in the last decade and can't shoot, injured thumb or no. I feel like Piston faithful now overvalue his defense because well, you need to find something positive at this point. He is though an NBA player and would be fine with smaller role off the bench that matches his capacity. Like so much on this roster, he's being asked to do too much.

Injuries suck, but outside of Kyrie Irving, who isn't injured at this point?

You do have to wonder at this point what it would take to fire Casey. He's developing the worst team in the league. Has an epic, potentially historically bad losing streak. And all the second year players look meh or worse compared to last year, and at this point, every team knows a basic zone will cease all Piston offense. And as a fan, I can barely watch more than a few minutes at a time before I'm like, "Oh, San Antonio is playing OKC? Sounds better."
