Gafford has come back down to earth (as expected). More interesting to me, though, is Deni Avdija. His stats look similar to the "yuck" stats that he put up as a rookie, but somewhat more efficient. But that's not accounting for the trend - which is up, particularly over the last month (48% overall, 33% from 3, and just better play overall).

Still not "good" - but given that the Bulls' need is at the 4, and given that Rui is coming back (and that they have Kuzma now), I do wonder if he would be a good "get" (at the cost of Troy Brown and likely the Portland pick). Young, combo forward (but more 4 than 3), and has the skillset to be versatile on both ends to include a decent shooting stroke.

Why not Kuzma instead? With Washington struggling and Beal's future in the air, tanking is very much a possibility for them. Kuzma would be the odd one out in this case as he's 26 already.

Does Kuzma defend well? Serious question, I have no idea. I thought he didn't but Washington was grimey to start the season on defense so maybe that impression was wrong and/or things changed.

I’m the bubble run when the Lakers defended well he didn’t look bad. He isn’t a game changer like Ball or AC but in a system I think he is more than passable.

Lakers suck. Does Lebron demand a trade to the Chicago Bulls?

LBJ is great, but I found myself legitimately wondering if I'd trade DD for him straight-up.

This is like me wondering about Luka a few pages back. It’s crazy you even have to think about it, and that’s the point of the post - but then you slap yourself into reality, and of course you bring that player in.

Luka and LBJ are slightly different though. Luka has a lot of years left. LBJ is playing great right now but the injuries are piling up. That being said in the right system he has a few years left for sure.

Had nothing to do with comparing the two. It’s the fact one even has to think twice about either player that felt surprising.

European fans finally get a game that isn’t in the middle of the night and it’s Pistons vs Rockets. Thanks for nothing, NBA.

The Pistons are ridiculously horrible, btw.

I hope it's not serious but a wheelchair isn't a good start. This is why we had to move on, he's been injured every season with something lower body starting with his only Duke season.

I actually think a month is a good outcome for AD, I saw that and my stomach twisted his knee bent the wrong way. I thought it could have been a tear & season worst case.

NYK ... so wait Kemba is playing again?!

24 players on the injury report for the Magic Nets game. Twenty. Four.

I‘m…not having fun.

The team Brooklyn is running out there doesn’t win 10 games in a season.

Edit: Actually, the team Milwaukee is putting out there may not win 8 games over the course of a season.

Javonte Smart (who?)
Jordan Nwora
Sandro Mamukelashvili
Demarcus Cousins

omg, magic is gonna blow this. someone tell the coach to tell the players to stop rushing shots. You don't need a quick shot, you was up and the game is winding down smh

EDIT: Magic pulled it off THANK YOU! Seriously though, when are the nets gonna play some good teams . They need to go on a nice little losing streak.

They should schedule our make-up game on Christmas Day. It’d be a lot more entertaining than whatever skeleton roster any of these teams can put together out there.

a full team of replacement players would be expected to win around a dozen games

Cavs have been winning but very fortunate to play depleted teams lately and they are in a 6-game win streak now. Sometimes you are good but also good to be lucky.

Could the same be said for the Cavs and there 6 game winning streak!

I admit they are playing better ball than anybody expected but who the hell are they winning against.
