She would only give me one:

2 oz. Hendricks
1 oz. St. Germain
2 oz. Cranberry juice
1 oz. White soda

I strongly prefer this one with 1 oz. Cranberry and 1/2 oz. White soda, but I'm somewhat of a lush.

Sounds simple, but the Cranberry and St Germain go really well together.

Awesome! Thank you, and your wife! I’ll definitely give this a try (And probably lean towards your modification lol)

I know she makes this martini too, but she adds something to it. She wouldn't tell me what, but this is pretty damn good just the way it's written here. It'll knock you on your ass if you're not used to sipping straight booze:

And this is by far my favorite gin drink (no St. Germain):

The cocktail at 8:00 here looks tasty. Just gin infused with muddled cranberries and rosemary, add water and dry vermouth. There's some resting and freezing in there, but yum.

I'm surprisingly uninitiated to St Germain/elderflower liqueur considering how well-paired it is to my favorite spirit. Pulled down our bottle tonight and made the cranberry one you shared above - it's delicious. I made it as your wife noted, but I'll try your modification next. This will be a perfect, bright and festive drink for when my inlaws are here

For elderflower liqueur, we actually have this - which I recommend trying if you like Gin. I haven't tried it side-by-side to St Germain, since as stated I haven't dabbled with it much in cocktails, but it's made by a Gin distillery and has juniper in it. Excited to try this in gimlets next summer now, and can't believe I haven't tried it before. Also is basically an aperitif.

Gonna throw this in here…

How often do you guys wonder about how different, possibly better, your life would be if you had made different choices? I had some really vivid dreams last night and it’s kind of thrown me into a funk and I really don’t want it to snowball into a mid-life crisis or anything.

I have a lot of regrets, but am probably the happiest I’ve ever been at this point, so I know it’s silly to think about it. :-?

Often enough. As a fairly heavy drug user in my younger years I definitely didn't make the most of my college experience and struggled heavily out of the gates. Probably lost some relationship opportunities due to it as well as my mental state fluctuated (go figure). In the end things turned out decent and I've gotten up there in my career progression so I don't let it bother me much. On the other hand, as someone in their early 30s, I often think about my desire to not have a family and if I'll regret it 20 years from now. That can keep me awake.
Inadequate perception I reckon it's from the Valium

Grass is greener situation for everyone, always.

I wonder if I could have opened a greasy spoon diner or become a carpenter and be more fulfilled.

You never think about the **** side of the other paths you could have gone down, just romanticize the perceived positives.
