Proud of our guys, we fought hard and came up short. Credit to the Magic who answered when it counted.

How about Duke with 8 offensive rebounds. Or Kessler Edwards with 3 blocks.

Cam doesn't belong in the Nets rotation when we get healthy.

Come to think of it, maybe it’s beneficial for us to not delay the games.

1. We are still the No.1 seed and we can afford a few more losses.

2. This gives KD & Harden the much needed rest.

3. If we postpone the games, we are going to have to play a ton of back to back to back games towards the end of the season to make up for the missing games. I can see the Bulls having a tough schedule down the track with all the missing games added in. It does not seem very sound before the start of the playoffs.

It was an amazing 4 game winning streak under the circumstances and a memorable one. I'm sure our rookies are grateful for this opportunity.

Next Game thread starter up........Dise your way overdue.

Agree with all that except for Harden needing rest. Far as I know he's fully healed now, and in fact needs as many reps as possible to get back in to bball shape.

I don't know what kind of cardio and skills regime the team has covid-sidelined players doing, but it seems especially critical for players like Beard and Kyrie.

Amazing performance from Duke. He seems the most refined of the rookies. Kessler is raw and it shows in his shots around the rim. Cam plays better with a leader like KD on the floor and his gravity. Mills had a decent game considering he was drawing doubles in the second half. I think once we get through this we will have a really deep team that will be playing better as a result. Plus we have the luxury of Kyrie in road games to help keep Durant’s minutes in check. Iam not too worried about our standings. The teams we need to stay above are the Bucks and Heat and they are having their own issues with stars out.

Carter should not see any PT from now on. This kids can ball, I don't see how DDJ should lose min the likes like Carter.

I missed first three quarters so can't really speak on the game.

I’m expecting a 10-15 game win streak when all the boys are back. The league is **** bricks right now. It’s not a coincidence we get hit with this a week before playing the leagues precious Lakers. I cannot stand LeBron and the Lakers. We would have waxed them with our big three. They are such a far cry from the hype of three months the ago.

David Duke was amazing he deserves to stay in the rotation but someone like Bruce Brown might be out. Cam was an inefficient chucker very disappointed in his performance. Kessler played well. Good effort all in all just came up short.

Amazing 4th by Duke. Echo everyone's sentiments about Kess and Duke playing with higher awareness and effort. Both outshining Cam. Man. One play that really grabbed my goat is Duke ties the game with the 3, gets us all the way back and our next possession we get an over and back turnover between our 2 vets. That Wagner 2 that couldn't have been defended better and somehow launches and drops from his freaking wrist... then as soon as Cam was pushing up floor I was pleading "please no hero ball, please no hero ball" to no avail.

They need to shut the league down til January.

The Sixers now have an outbreak. Guess how that happened?

The NBA forcing the Nets to play these games with an outbreak has caused super spreader events. It's honestly unconscionable the way the league is handling this.

It's the only sane thing to do. If Silver isn't moved by protecting the safety of players and fans then he should at least consider that he's watering down the "quality of the product" with several stars going out with COVID. I feel disgusting just typing that out, but it's the only thing that seems to matter to Silver (and other commissioners of major sports) is money.

Yup. either shut it down and look into another bubble or go the NFL route and stop testing players if they dont show symptoms.

its to the point where the 2-way and g-leaguers are entering protocol 2 and games are just a bunch fo 10-day guys off the streets. that isnt NBA basketball anymore

I'm uncertain of the idea of not testing people if they are asymptomatic because I am not too well informed on how contagious someone is if they aren't showing symptoms.

We have someone on our team who is at risk because of his heart issues, so my concern starts first and foremost there.

Part of the issue is that the "symptoms" are so broad and hard to distinguish from non-COVID related illnesses... You're going to have people not knowing they have COVID brushing off symptoms because they're so common / don't want to miss the chance to play, etc. which will worsen the issue of spread (good luck contact tracing) and put those at risk in greater peril...

You can still test as a team to manage infections, but the league would only test for protocol/mandatory quarantine for symptomatic people.

LMA is going to have to have a come to jesus moment either way. he just got COVID so he has some baseline on how it effected him and if he is worried testing or not it seems omicron is so contgious and so often is asymptomatic that its spreading like wildfire. he is going to need to accept some elevated risk or maybe step away again.

it will work itself out. over the next month we may all get it. like 99% of the US... anyone who isnt living in a bunker. if thats the case, testing doesnt matter. if we dont all get it, then something like the bubble or a pause makes more sense.

The NFL was basically like F-it, everyone is going to get it, it seems low risk if our players do get it, stop testing and move on. the NFL is also the money hungriest of all the sports leagues
