At this point I feel like at least 50% of Americans are carrying the virus, vaccinated or not.

I'm not an expert, but seems like the new variant is more contagious but less severe in terms of symptoms. Maybe all these players getting it isn't a bad thing?

I don't think we can do the bubble again, players wouldn't have it. Nor do I want to watch it.

I imagine it’ll be a good thing a month or two down the road. Beyond that who knows?

My field of interest has always been history & literature, but a man has to eat hence the IT career 8-)

I hear you, my brother. I too work in tech to pay the bills (and clearly got the reference, so perhaps a mirror unto myself!).

That was my first thought also. What is your take on Stem cell injections or platelet spinning? Sounds like he's doing one or the other of the two.

These technologies have been around for a while but there is no consensus established on dosage. PRP is at least more harmless, with stem cells evidently being linked to occasionally causing osteosarcomas (bone cancers).

They were very fashionable in Australia about 10 years ago but now are more or a 'I guess we could try this?' option for injury management. Australia was one of a couple of countries in the world where they were used primarily for musculoskeletal conditions, most other countries it was for beauty purposes!

In Australia they give people a 6 month 'Vaccinated' certificate if they contract covid. I wonder if this might be similar for Kyrie? Like when people have chicken pox parties

Holy sh*t. That would expire just after the date of Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

I view this as more like an airlock situation. Doesn't mean he has it, just means he needs to do the protocol to re-enter the team environment after being on the outside the last two months. It could be nothing more than he's doing the appropriate isolating and testing to be allowed to join up with the team.

Neither did I. Does that mean we get the "green tick" either from vaccinations or catching it?

Also If Jez could let us know how to "contract" COVID that would be great. If we can pay it to stay away, even better ;-)

Davis out another 4 weeks. That dude is so soft he should only get paid for half a season.

Counting him, Ennis, and Shaq Harrison, the nets signed 3 guys recently on short contracts who could have helped us out, either now or earlier in the season.

My prediction, barring a miraculous turnaround, is that they pause the season and probably remove some games off the schedule but won’t do so until after the Christmas games.

Robin Lopez just put up 22 shots in an NBA game in 2021.

Covid positivity rate in Wisconsin is 51.1%, the highest in the country.
Most states have positivity rates of under 10%.
Of course, this is raw data and it overestimates the actual positivity rates.
