This is a loss if the refs think the Wolves are the Lakers

It's a matter of days before the season halts IMO.

This is what i was worried about. More and more Lakers are in protocols, it was a matter of time before Mavs will get hit by it as well. Problem is, they seriously can't afford to miss anyone, they are already struggling as it is.

Bullock can use some time off, he really isn't that important, it's time Kidd started tinkering with the lineup, Burke deserves 20 MPG based on his latest play, I'd bump him to the starting lineup next to Luka, but with the very relaxed threshold for positivity with the Omicron, there's no way the NBA as a whole can maintain the season, wither do away with the protocols or shutdown for 2 months.

The suckfest of seeds 5-10 in the west is amazing, Clippers just lost to OKC, with SGA buzzer beater, Lakers also did the same few days ago.
I think DEN will be 4, MEM looking like 5th, 6th spot is up for grabs who sucks less between DAL, LAC, LAL, MIN and POR

Immagine having a 23yo Luka Doncic in the worst West Conference all time and fight for a PO spot... OMG.

Its partly his own fault. He is not the difference maker that he was supposed to be this year and thats on him.

It's just brutal watching the Mavs shoot 3s this season.

Another poor start - 1/9 from 3.

The team's offense just looks so bad at times. The 5 or 6 straight turnovers was hard to watch. I applaud the effort Brunson is putting in but he's being asked to do far too much. Kidd needs to run more sets and not rely on Brunson to create everything.

Also Sterling Brown needs to sit. He's out of shape, can't shoot or do anything. And no idea why Jaqori is in the game over Omaruyi. Jaqori is not an NBA player and looked like a scared puppy out there.

Good close to the 3rd quarter and nice to see S. Brown finally hit a shot.

Win or lose, S.Brown just hit an open 3, that should be on ESPN front page tomorrow!

And KP confirmed out the rest of the game with right foot soreness. Of course he is, ugh.

Fine effort by the team in the loss. Can't fault the effort in this one, we just looked overmatched and as usual could not hit our 3s.

Awful substitution down the stretch. Powell and Sterling do know how to lose game. I don't expect the airball from wide-opened Brunson. That's pretty bad. The game never ends well when the Mavs needs a 3 in clutch moment. This team can't shoot. That's it.

Shooting is a problem but I think it goes beyond that. A lot of the 3s that go up tend to be desperation 3s because of the lack of creation and/or the lack of set plays. Like KP said before, if Brunsons PnR doesn't work, they scramble and just try and figure it out on offense. There needs to be more variation in the offense especially without our elite playmaker in Luka not playing. Run some curls, run some floppy action, something else.

We don't have the offensive talent to stay productive. I agree you with regarding Brunson. He gives us everything he has.
