Rodgers had a slightly better year in 2018 (MM's last) than in 2019 (MLF's first). And the team went from 6-9-1 to 13-3. Yes coaching does matter.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

And excellent on Rodgers part for making the right read and throwing to the open man.
He wasn't forcing throws to Tae, he was playing within the system. Rodgers had a great time.

I am a little concerned about the D (and very concerned about the special teams, but that does without saying). They have regressed the last four games and seem to have isuses getting off the field right now. Hopefully we do get Jaire and Z back and that bolsters them some more.

I think they really missed Kenny Clark more than we realized. While the edge rushers were getting pressure, the frequent lack of of pressure from the middle left a gap that Huntley exploited to great effect all game long. That, and even on running plays between tackles, the Packer interior DLine was often knocked back off the line

Getting Clark back will big. Anything we get from Alexander is a bonus. I don't know if Z will be back. There hasn't been much said about him recently.

Who returns first, Z or Brook Lopez?

I won't trust the Packers D until they are holding up the Lombardi. Been burned too many years to be tricked again.
Now I'll give some credit for yesterday to Huntley, dude played well.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

They gave up contain too easily. Guys would loop inside and the edge would just be wide open for Huntley to run around.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

If we spy on Huntley that game is a 31-14 finish. Entire fourth quarter was Huntley breaking contain because our guys were sloppy.

What kind of rights do we have on Rasul Douglas? I am thinking we legit have the best secondary in the league when Alexander gets back, assuming I forget about Savage's game this week.
Really important to bring him back.

Could always Franchise or Transition Tag him, but given the cap hell they're going to be in I think that's unlikely.

Re: Game 14: Packers at Ravens - 3:25 - Fox
LaFleur, as quoted in Packers.com:
The hidden aspects to the late letdowns on defense weren't so positive, though.
As Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley directed two touchdown drives in the game's final nine minutes, LaFleur felt the defense wasn't situationally as aware as it needed to be, and often wasn't in position at the snap of the ball.
Two important passes to tight end Mark Andrews to convert third and fourth downs were "easy completions" the Packers didn't challenge effectively based on the situation, LaFleur said.
He also lamented multiple defenders not being set and ready for the snap, and it left them a step slow as the Ravens were marching down the field. Sometimes the play call wasn't in soon enough, LaFleur said, but other times it was.
"Anytime the defense has a chance to put their cleats in the ground, they're taking in the offensive information, really looking at the keys, they have a much better idea of what potentially could be coming at them and then going out there and playing the play," he said.
"I think that's where there's room for improvement. Certainly, we need all 11 on defense locked in, ready to go on the snap of the ball, and if you look, that wasn't always the case on those last few drives."
The most frustrating moment was a miscommunication on the sideline that left only 10 players on the field as Huntley scrambled to the pylon for the first of the two scores.
LaFleur called that "totally unacceptable" and "embarrassing," and said it falls on him first, as well as the rest of the staff, to communicate clearly.
"I think our guys will be better for it," he said of the late-game struggles in general. "We'll learn from it. We'll get back to work tomorrow."

We've played 14 games, it's late for "we'll learn from it". Especially stuff that's been happening all season.

Not discussed at all re: Harbaughs decision to go for it is that Rodgers had 50 seconds and a time out left (assuming we don't fumble the return which is a coin flip at this point).
I don't hate our odds of winning that game even if they convert the 2 pointer.

I'm sure Harbaugh knew how much Crosby has struggled all year. 42 seconds is long enough for Rodgers to get into field goal range but highly unlikely they even sniff the end zone. Have the lead with a struggling Crosby trying to win the game or give the ball to Rodgers in overtime to have as much time as he needs to score a TD against a horrible secondary. I think he made the right call.

I still get annoyed when I think back to McCarthy not going for 2 in that playoff game in Arizona back in 2015 lol. That one where our WRs were literally Jeff Janis and Jared Abbedris.
