I been slacking on my college ball I’ve only really seen Chet / banchero and a tiny bit of Ivey/Jabari

Patrick not looking to good? I think not playing with the big boys might hurt his stock a lil bit but I get wanting to play for your pops

Haven’t watched too much of him just saw the wasserman tweet and figured good info

I think I said this before his IQ is better than his natural ability. I compared him to a less athletic Lebron, but everyone is less athletic than Lebron  . Most of his games you watch him and he moves like a controlled veteran.

Looking at him more I have him pegged to be a Harrison Barnes type guy. Like a high level producer on a team that has talent, and a overrated producer on a team that doesn’t. Him being beat badly makes sense he’s not first option talent, but he’s the definition of “NBA weight training can fix that”. I think he would be a great SF on the Knicks because he could be the glue guy they need. Aka a guy who works to get in position to score without the ball in his hands. My only real concern as a fit is he likes to work in the midrange and the Knicks, like most teams prefer to have a rolling big in there.

I also been watching Wendell Moore. I think he is playing how they had wanted Fournier to play. He would also be a legit good candidate to put between Randle and RJ. He also feels like a Thibs player more than most of this draft does, and for stupid reasons (aka his age, and earlier lack of production) he might drop.

Jaden Ivey just went 6-6 from 3

he's been shooting the 3 ball really well this yr. his jumper doesn't look as fluid as Hardy's, but he's the better all-around player: very good passer and legitimate 2-way player

Let’s draft him just in case Zion returns at his current weight!

Reminds me a young Marc Gasol offensively…. I noticed no defensive highlights and I guess that’s where being as big as he is, he would be bad at it unless he could camp in the paint.

really wish Scoot Henderson was draft eligible. barely missed the cut

he's the PG we need. great size, athleticism, passing skills. still developing as a shooter, but shows flashes of shooting off the dribble (esp. in the mid-range)

2023....?

That's really disrespectful to Marc. While it's true that Gasol was overweight when he was young, he was nowhere near this level of obesity. Marc could actually run and move around the court. This Connor guy can only stand still and if he gets the ball hit an occasional jumper, pretty much. No screens, no movement.

Pass on Jaden Hardy but will say Jaylen Brown said Scoot was the best 17 year old he has ever seen. High praise and I'm all for a tank to get him.

This kid Scoot looks great. He’s going to be pretty mature as a player by the time he’s drafted so if he is going to be great he’ll impact his new team immediately

This draft might be sneaky good at the Wing position. No “stars” like the PF/Center position, but a lot of guys with potential to carve out a career.

Good thing for the Knicks another Wing should be the draft focus.

This thread needs to be retitled/revised negatively to reflect lowered expectations. As of now we're probably closer to # 20 as our BEST pick next year.

we have the third hardest schedule for the rest of the season and Randle is at best in a Slump, or at worst disengaged from the team. I still have this team slotted 10 - 15 draft wise.
