Kelly O back soon, should he be starting?

We desperately need more size and frontcourt scoring.
Who is your starting 5 and whose coming off the bench when KO becomes available?

Your preference, not what you expect Casey to do with his smallball addiction.

No. He may currently be the best player on the team or close to it, but he’s not going to develop into anything better than he already is. Let Stewart battle against starters. Let KO add size to the bench unit.

I could see him starting at PF next to Stewart while Grant is out, but Diallo has played really well. Olynyk probably can't start at center for us because we're too small and he isn't a rebounder or interior defender.

So you if you start Olynyk I think its likely got to be Stewart-Olylnk-Bey-Diallo-Cade

Yes. But has there been any updates on his return?

Start him until Grant is back. Move Bey back to SF, but treat Bey higher offensive option than KO.

Bey is doing much better with Grant out, I think we need to let this lineup play out for a while see how it goes.

We need someone else defenses need to pay attention to in the starting lineup.

I generally like how Cade handled defenses collapsing on him in our win, but long term we need someone else who commands attention. Kelly is the closest we’ve got.

I’d start him at the 4. Diallo has played well but the fit isn’t great, he’s still best as a 6th man.

Bigger picture, is Bey a four? I think this is the time to experiment and figure that out. I admit I haven't watched any recent game that closely, but I wouldn't want to rock the boat if Bey has truly been manning the four during his uptick so Kelly O can get more PT.

That said, the Garza/Lyles near-death lineup did excite me a little to see two bigs that actually rebound at the same time. Kelly O and Beef Stew would bring that.

How can we blame Canada if he doesn't start? We have so few bigs. Sure, let him start. I don't think it has to be either/or with Stewart. It gives room for Cade to start at PG and Hayes to come off the bench.

Id like Kelly O with Grant, Bey at SF, let Cade play with Diallo. That might be our best potential scoring punch.

I'd let Killian run the 2nd unit you'd still have Lyles and Garza together with FJax, and JJax.

Small ball is not working, I don't want to see 3 guards on the floor together unless it's the rarest of conditions.

Grant
Kelly O
Bey
Diallo
Cade

Nah. Just need a Jaden Ivey-type player paired up with Cade.
