Well, I haven't seen footage from the Rhode Island game, but here he is against Colorado struggling from the field.

There's a few things I noticed about him. First, he seems completely content living and dying from beyond the arc. His first four shots in this game were all threes (1/4). After that he puts the ball on the floor twice and gets to the line both times (once off of a cut). Then he goes back to happily hucking threes, and mixes in some more air balls.

It's clear to me that he has a slow first step and can't necessarily blow by defenders, but he isn't really strong enough to use his size either.

Even in a game where he plays well, like the (game below). Notice he isn't putting the ball on the floor at all. Absolutely everything is coming off of the catch and shoot, he isn't creating anything for himself. He's knocking down his open looks though, and mixing in more action from the elbow.

I think we have to ask ourselves if he would be better with better talent surrounding him. Also, what kind of character does he have? Bobby Webster says that they track these prospects from the time they're in high school, so FOs likely have an idea of what these kids are like on and off the court, what kind of work ethic they have, how they are in the locker room etc.

I was really high on him going back to last year, when I saw a video that compared him to a 6'10 Klay Thompson. Right now he doesn't look anything like Klay, more like Kuzma. He probably comes out this year because he's almost guaranteed to go in the lottery, but he might be better served transferring to a better program (unlikely, since I believe his dad is coaching him) and doing another year of college ball.

Here's a clip of Keegan and his brother talking Iowa Basketball, followed by Keegan dropping 35

I like Murray, and I think he got a quick first step compare to someone at his size. I have him in the top 8 if not top 10 (depends any guards will rise up later the year).
As if he is still available at our pick (very unlikely), just that I don't know if we will draft another PF.

I have watched Murray several times and don't think he is a lottery pick. He may not even be first round by the time the draft comes. He can't score at all against a good D.

lol I’d love this but for some reason I feel even if we won the lottery again and got picks 1-4 Masai would Masai and honestly I’m ok with that .

He’s definitely my favourite prospect though I’ve always wanted an athletic beast at pg since Derrick Rose.

If we luck into the 4th pick, I could see him picking Kendall Brown or Ivey.

I’d hope for Ivey but I gotta be honest with you. Every draft Masai picks a player and for literally 30 seconds I complain and then I do my research and I start warming up to the pick. It’s like clock work.

Therefore my conclusion is the guy I want the most is the guy Masai ends up picking lol.

I think Flynn is the only player maybe David Johnson as well since after Masai’s Bruno draft that I didn’t like the pick and still haven’t been able to warm Upto. I even warmed upto Hernandez but he was always injured still wish we could’ve given him a better chance. Would’ve rather him than Gillespie.

So far I haven't seen Brown create for himself, mainly scoring from transition and as a finisher by someone who attracted double teams. I guess if no further impact on college games, maybe he can show more in the tournament, otherwise, I have Murray slightly ahead of him (Murray has a crossover and some hesitation moves to get separation).

Givony has us going with Davison at 13 in his new mock draft and passing up Kendall Brown who he has falling to 16 somehow.

I am really warming up to Kendall Brown because he is a freak athlete, past success of Baylor kids in the NBA, and he knows his role. He scores like 70% of his points in the paint and plays team ball. He kind of reminds me of Brandon Clarke who is a super role player, and in the 15-20 range he'd be great.

The other guy I am really warming up to because I always like LSU players is Tari Eason. He is 6'8" and another pogo stick:

;ab_channel=LeagueHim

I might prefer this guy to Kendall Brown because look at some of the advanced numbers:
3.9 STL%
8.1 BLK%
17 TRB%

Brown doesn't do half as much as an impact player as Eason. He can somewhere between Ty Thomas and a Jimmy Butler type if he develops well.

He's like Ja Morant trying to dunk everything at 6'3. Davison is also sophomore age as a freshman; a year older than Kendall Brown.

Brown had 10 assists in a game, though against Nicholls State. He doesn't over-dribble; just an efficient player.

Brown reminds me of Paul George.

just noticed that Julian Champaignie is now mocked in second round. He is having a great season. Would love to secure a second round pick via trade for him.

Brown fits the Raptors perfectly I think. Could be a big bench piece in his first year before entering the starting lineup in year 2 or 3.

The only guys I really like so far are Holmgren, Ivey, Kendall Brown and Johnny Davis. Lukewarm on Mathurin. Koloko as a late 1st/2nd rounder.

Not a fan of what I've seen from Jabari, Banchero, Baldwin, Keegan Murray, Hardy. Not that they'll be busts, just not that appealing to me as prospects.

I only love Chet, Ivey and Brown.

I am warming up to TyTy. Think he has serious upside and is held back by Kentucky.
