We drafted Melvin Frazier. Tim is a long time g league veteran from what i see. Great passer looking at stats.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Have a feeling Weham we'll l exploit this situation and just play G-leaguers up to the all-star break.

wiki link: Tim_Frazier
He's an aged 3rd-string PG. His signing is hopefully a gap-stop for two-weeks until one of these players returns: Suggs, Anthony, Moore, or Carter-Williams. Is it really too much to ask for ONE of these players to return???

The Magic look to start Mulder and play Frazier as a big-minutes sub. What is the O/U on those two for their TO line? Eight ?

Hopefully, they just let Franz handle the ball.

If the goal was to be competitive, Tim Frazier should be starting at point guard until one of Anthony/Suggs/Fultz is ready to return.
He's an actual capable backup caliber NBA point guard. Mulder is a bad shooting guard that doesn't belong in the NBA.

Houston, New Orleans, and OKC all have a lot of distance over Orlando and Detroit now. When the Magic starts getting healthy, we fans will learn if the rotations are an intent to win or lose. But for now, Orlando cannot be projected to win another game this year.
I still believe the Magic can get to a 25% win rate, or above. If winning is a goal that is. For that Orlando needs to go 15 and 36 (29% win rate - here on). But what if the Magic does not target 21 wins at this point, then what? Shut down the season and bench Isaac, Fultz and Suggs for the rest of the year to have a probable 5th selection in the draft.
Is that what this season is about? I fear that is a rhetoric Yes.

I wouldn’t stress so much about the Magic hitting a specific win total.
As guys are ready and able to return from injuries, they’ll play.
I absolutely do not think there’s some mandate to finish with the worst record.

We just beat Brooklyn. They showed a graphic during the game where the available players that night had a total of a little over 90 collective appearances for their team and about half of those appearances were by Blake Griffin. The current normal in the NBA is that results have more to do with how ravaged your roster is by covid than by what your healthy squad looks like. We are going to pick up some wins against other makeshift rosters composed of G-leaguers and 10-day contracts. It's just what the NBA is right now. It wouldn't surprise me if there are some guys that make their way around the league and accrue stats with several different teams while playing most of the season on 10-day contracts. The league is a mess right now. You can't read much into wins and losses at this point.
"Xatticus has always been, in my humble opinion best poster here. Should write articles or something."

This might be true, but it really looks like Orlando and Detroit are aiming for 29th and 30th place.
And with the 5th pick in the NBA draft, the Orlando Magic select .....

The whole idea that an individual could play for multiple teams on differing 10-day deals boggles the mind.
But that is where we are.
