Anybody want Westbrook?
Seriously now...Any team??? What are the odds of him being traded right now?
Come on now there has gotta be one team as dumb as us wanting this guy. We need a team thats willing to put a circus act out there in order to put asses on the seats.
Detroit maybe?

My local primary school’s under 12 girls basketball team might be interested, he’s gotta learn to stop turning over the ball though, or we are putting him on the bench.

Lakers chances rest on AD now.
LeBron can play a great game like tonight and still get blown out by the top teams. He's not like prime LeBron where he can elevate a injured team.

What is this a joke? Not even prime Lebron would save this **** show.

Washington may be interested.

Re: Anybody want Westbrook?
Westbrook isn't as much the issue as terrible roster construction.
No big wings
No defensive guards
Terrible big man depth
Old team where injuries are piling up
Shooters who can't defend and defenders who can't shoot

Our main PG cant shoot-defend nor pass at a good level. Turnover prone cant shoot freethrows. One of if not the worst contract out there. I'd say when your main PG has way too many deficiencies and on that huge of a contract he's a major problem.
Oh yeah construction of the roster isn't that good i agree. Had we gotten a PG who'd fit better with the team it would look different.

Sure but the PG has a huge effect on how the rest of the team plays. If Chris Paul was on this team instead of Westbrook they would be the #4 seed right now at worst. Most of those close losses would be wins with a clutch and non-turnover prone PG.

LeGM to Portland management: We need Lillard
Portland management: We got you fam. Just over THT, Westbrook and some bums and we'll tell ESPN we were blown away by the offer.

Any team that only just needs to make the playoffs or make money can use him. It's getting past that benchmark that teams falter with using him.
The Greatest of All Time debate in basketball is essentially who has the greatest basketball resume of the player who has the best highlights instead of who is the best player

Danny Ainge will probably think about trading a couple of second round picks for him - but then not make the deal.

Awful roster construction is the first issue. Westbrook is the second. From George to Harden to Beal Westbrook doesn't have the effect you'd expect from having 2 stars on a team. And it's not like with other stars where you're excusing them for choking a title, his teams almost never make much noise or always chronically underperform for one fresh excuse or another. Frankly speaking this one is on Lebron for closing his own window. It doesn't get done without his blessing. You beat the guy by leaving him unguarded, how do you trade for that?
