Love the 3 way effort, but no shot TOR does that.

The Houston idea, however, has real merit and I think that a deal like that could get done.

Think OG is too much in general? I’m hoping Toronto will be open to trading him just because OG and Scottie Barnes are somewhat redundant…obviously there are much worse problems to have tho. If the Toronto interest in Ben is true who do you think they’d be willing to trade?

I don’t see anyway TOR is moving Barnes. Value wise I could see a Dragic/OG trade for Ben.

Would you do something like this?

DAL gets Dragic, Harris, and Curry
PHI gets THJ, Kleber, and OG
TOR gets Simmons and Kristaps

Maybe DAL accepts Green instead of Curry?

That’s a definition of a desperate bad trade.

Yes, Harris is having a bad stretch and his contract sucks. Yes, we are playing badly and we want Ben Simmons drama to end as possible and Harris going out with his seems like a dream. But we’ll be getting far worse players in this suggested trade.

So, let’s rate this players

1. Simmons is the best player of all the 8 players.
2. Harris = Porzingis = OG
5. THJ = Curry
7. Dragic
8. Kleber

Maxey / Milton
THJ / Korkmaz
OG / Thybulle
Kleber / Niang
Embiid / Drummond

So, unless Maxey turns into superstar, there is no player outside Embiid that can score in the halfcourt in a tough playoff series. This is a 1st round exit team.

Unless I’m looking at this wrong I don’t it would even work? You have Toronto bringing in $64M and only sending out $25M in OG and Gragic. Only way to make it work if Siakam is involved…which likely isn’t happening.

With Omicron saying “Yo!,” does the calculus for most teams shift to YOLO and an all-in mentality or to a more conservative mentality where they’re thinking “winner of this season gets an asterisk, so what’s the point?”

We’ve had the same thing last year with multiple gsnes being postponed. It’ll take one month and it’ll be back to normal.

Could have sworn I saw Shai can be moved after Jan 30, but Pincus doesn’t have that. Maybe he can’t be?

Which 1 of these 4 teams says no to this trade? This might be the perfect deal, if I don’t say so myself…aka I should stop smoking and using the trade machine.

Sixers trade: Ben, Tobi and Shake
Sixers Receive: CJ McCollum, Sabonis and Kemba

Kicks Trade: Fournier, Kemba, Obi Toppin, Alec Burks
Knicks Receive: Tobi, Nance Jr and Shake

Blazers Trade: McCollum, RoCo, Simons, Nance Jr, 2023 protected 1st
Blazers Receive: Ben, Fournier and Alec Burks

Pacers Trade: Sabonis
Pacers Receive: Simons, Toppin, RoCo, Blazers protected 2023 1st

Too light for Pacers as it’s 3 bench players plus a low 1st for Sabonis

The team that's trading an all-star in his prime for a bunch of role players and a late first.

I would trade anything and everything we have except Embiid if we had a chance to land Shai. He is already a superstar, if he teams up with Embiid - it's over, we'll be legit contender for a long time.

Don't see a reason to do that for Thunder though.

I’m curious to see what a Sabonis trade would be like. He’s obviously a good player, but is any team trading significant pieces for him thinking they will become instant title contenders?

And I looked at the trade from the Pacers perspective of getting 2 young and cheap bench pieces with potential, a 1st round pick + cap flexibility. They would have RoCo(13), Warren(12), and Lamb(10) as all expiring contracts going into the off-season, a minor move of trading someone like Justin Holiday and they could be looking at throwing big free agent $ at a player that makes a lot more sense for their roster: Brogdon, Levert, Miles Bridges(hypothetical), and Turner with Duarte, Simons, Toppin, TJ McConnell + an upcoming lottery pick(likely), and 2 1st’s in 2023 makes them much more interesting….all in my opinion of course. And honestly I’m at the point with Thybulle that if a deal is make or break on him being involved I’m probably going to throw him in every time.

Sixers:
Bertans
Kuzma
Wizards 2022 1st round pick

Wizards:
Tobias Harris

Why for Wizards:
Tobi, Beal and Dinwiddie gives them a big 3 for their standard.

Why for Sixers:
Bertans and Kuzma are contracts easier to trade. Bertans can be a really good player on this team similar to Niang. Kuzma can provide microwave scoring off the bench.

Wizards 1st round pick is the most important asset in return for us in the trade.

Sixers:
Cam Thomas

Nets:
Jaden Spriner
Andre Drummond

Why for Nets:
Drummond helps them win now. Springer is a guy they can develop on the side

Why for Sixers:
Gives us one of the most promising young scorers in the league

Sixers:
Malik Beasley
Taurean Prince (13M expiring)
Josh Okogie (expires after next season)
2022 1st round pick

Wolves:
Tobias Harris
Andre Drummond

Wolves:
Harris upgrade on scoring over Beasley off the bench.
Drummond a great compliment with KAT

Sixers:
Cap flexibility
Beasley type of scorer than Tobi
We get a late lotto to mid first pick in the upcoming draft
