This season is finished as far as title contention goes - it just is. Name me another team that’s looked this awful effort and energy wise combined with the health issues and had any long term playoff run. It hasn’t happened.

Monk should be back for sure Saturday. Reaves and Bradley should be back Tuesday. A month ago, Wes Matthews, Cousins and James Ennis were available to be signed and yet Rondo and DJ sat at the end of the bench.

And seriously.. out of all the G-League guys: Mason Jones is the best we can do?

Their bench outscored ours 69-20.
And they made 13 more 3s than us.

Lakers losing this badly with Fizdale coaching the team, might have saved his job for now. He’s probably praying that he won’t be back until AD starts playing again.

Sounds like Kendrick Nunn was getting some individual work before the game. That’s the first time I’ve seen that.

Suns last season started off 11-9 which similar to the current Lakers record of 16-14. Suns had losses like this one below and still went on make a Finals run.

Um Suns were 22-11 after 33 games last season, and had a much healthier team than Lakers will have all year.

Wes, Cousins, Ennis should.have been signed.

Main issue has been not surrounding the big 3 with role players that play hard and don't limit the offense.

Melo, Monk, Ellington, Jordan, THT, Rondo just don't seem to play hard

Bazemore, Bradley and Howard play hard but hurt by being limited offensively

Reaves, Ariza and Nunn were the best additions. Melo and Monk have been ok because of how good his shot has looked but they will.hurt the team in the playoffs

I wish the season was already over and we could do a rebuild.

IT has looked like trash really besides the Chicago game. Had some garbage time points where he looked good against the T-Wolves.

This game, like many of the others this season, shows the team makeup is crap. They have marginal NBA talent behind the top 3 and the old guys are not able to play both ends with the same intensity any longer. Bron was worthless on defense and Westbrook has never been an aware player on that end.

This is the result of allowing Bron total control over the team IMHO. This ends when he makes his next announcement.

For me, the only thing I can "pull for" on this team is the jersey. There is no inspiring player here any longer.

With the name change, so can Jeannie petition the NBA that they start all over, record wise, play bad teams like OKC, Orlando, Houston, Detroit again? forget the losses etc.

Then why did he sign off on trading for him?

Probably thought he could rest for the regular season while AD and Westbrook handle the regular season duties. I mean Westbrook use to have a rep of elevating bigs but I guess the only player that can elevate AD is Rondo.

I bet the league is regretting that they've picked the Lakers for a christmas game. So many better teams they could have picked.
