“We talked about it as he walked to the free throw line,” Kidd said. “My first response was to miss the second one. We’ll take the bet of someone making it from the other side of the floor. … If we did make that free throw, our luck they get it in-bounds at half-court and we foul the 3-point shooter and it’s a four-point play. We’ll take our chances with them heaving a full-court shot.”

May Day. Benoit Benjamin, Ken Norman. Holy Hell, that was some baad basketball. Talking myself into Derek Strong as a legit starting power forward.Ron Swanson wrote:Thought about the March-April period of 2013 being the low point for me. Skiles had been **** canned (or "mutually parted ways", whatever), forced to watch the Swag twins chuck us to a 12-19 record after the ASB, the disastrous Tobes trade at the deadline, then of course, getting swept out of a postseason we had no business being in with a 38-44 record.
But ultimately, it's gotta be that 2006-2008 period sandwiched between the Bogut draft and FTD. The back-to-back picks of Yi and Potsie damn near broke me, then throw in the Redd ACL injury, the luster already wearing off Bogut, and ultimate realization he was never living up to the hype. The R-Jeff 1-year rental was just weird and unnecessary. Larry **** K....

LMAO, there is an obscure name from the past. Like Alan Ogg.midranger wrote:I vaguely remember an Uber head scratching move involving Salom Stoudamire and a guaranteed multi-year late season deal rather than a ten day to secure bird rights or something for the following season. I don’t believe he ever played a minute for us.

Skiles cleaning out his office and assuming he was gone the offseason prior and then getting brought back will forever be classic

Every time Middleton dribbles off his foot (at least once per game) this season I remember back to the playoffs. In 2 of the 4 wins against Miami Middleton was the leading scorer. 2 of the 4 against the Nets (35, 38). 2 of the 4 against the Hawks (38, 32). And one against the Suns (his 40 point monster game 4).
