Wow. Hope Bledsoe won't prove me wrong but this is pretty good for us.

Clippers are optimistic that Kawhi can come back soon enough to make those kind of moves.

EDIT : well actually they are saving money with this trade so not sure.

Glad Beverley isn't spending the season with a team I actually like

LAC 0-2 but PG13 is playing very very well and they have an easy schedule :(

PG13 out for 3-4 weeks and we are good though. Gonna need some luck.

How about Billy Donovan with some talent on the roster?

You only show up here to casually troll. If you want to have a serious discussion about why Westbrook and George aren’t talented, then fine. Otherwise, just go away.

Good time to say Merry Christmas to everyone!

Won't overreact though because the West suck :(

The clippers have played the 3rd easiest schedule in the league so far. Going forward, they have the 9th most difficult schedule. They have 17 games in the next 4 weeks. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them go 5-12. Will be interesting.

If reports are true, him coming back in 4 weeks is best case scenario. It looks like they are waiting 3-4 weeks to see if he will need surgery or if it can heal.
PG13 was terrible when he came back in 2019 because of his elbows so he probably won't be close to 100% this season again.

Sorry it wasn’t meant to be a comment about those OKC seasons.

That is why I posted in the NBA thread, not any of the Thunder threads.

It was meant only to be about how the Bulls turned it around this season with Donovan at the helm.

This is exactly why I thought we’d get a lotto pick.

But, good point on the rest of the West.

Still think the Clips are in trouble this year. Ty Lue is a good coach tho.

Yeah the Clippers coaching staff is doing a terrific job. They improved a lot. Hope we can get lucky because of PG13/Kawhi injuries.

Boston 4/41 from three against the Clippers...yikes. Gonna need PG13 and Kawhi out for the rest of the season for the pick to be really good (it's still possible)

That’s worse than even our worst I think ? Abit under 10% from three.
Not going win in the modern NBA from 3s with that type of stats .

No clue how the Clippers keeps winning games. I'm pissed but congrats to them.

Jake Fischer with rumors that PG13 couldn't play this season anymore...he's always wrong though :(

Anyway if the pick is 16-19, it's still pretty good.

Clippers doing crazy stuff again (well the Wizards helped a lot).

So many comebacks and close game wins. A late lottery pick is still good but had a chance to be much better.

So we're way off (like galaxies) from positing anything definitive here because I'm about to mention 2 of the absolute youngest players currently in the NBA but I feel as though there are too many inside the OKC fan base who are too quick to dismiss any notion that Kuminga may in fact become a better NBA player than Giddey. Again, every caveat can be attached here and I know how JK's scoring is getting inflated during garbage time etc. I feel like his upside is near superstar level though. Night and day difference when it comes to these two as power/explosive athletes. Giddey's got the IQ and overall better feel/understanding/passing acumen etc but if he's always in that 10-15ppg (or lower if his usage drops around better players) and Kuminga blasts off into 1st/2nd banana usage later on in his career then it's not hard for me to picture some shoulda coulda woulda's from our fanbase about this draft.

I love Kuminga and think he has superstar potential. I had him as a top 3 prospect before his bad performances last season and wanted to draft him. That being said, I think he was in the same tier as Giddey and it's impossible to know who's gonna be the best player. Presti made some very weird draft picks but won't blame him for that pick if Kuminga becomes a superstar (but yeah gonna hurt a bit, not gonna deny it).

I think any fanbase that passes on a player who becomes better than the guy they picked would have those type of feelings.
