I disliked him as a player before, so having to watch this car crash is even more infuriating.

I wouldn't assume this team is making the playoffs.

This Lakers season is a wash no matter what they do I think. I don't think they are somehow going to get some sort of 2020 magic going even if they can get to the play in with both AD and LeBron healthy. LeBron can probably get them 3-4 very good games in a 7 game series but the rest of the roster is basically trash and AD probably isn't going to be even 75% of his 2020 self.

Imagine if Lakers just added Mills to the team and let Schroeder walk in the offseason..

lol 2020 magic?? At this point we can't even expect a 2018 mid-season magic. Moving Westbrook is impossible.

I'm just saying, the basic narrative since 2020 has been if LeBron+AD are both healthy they are contenders. I don't think that's even the case this year. Less so trying to do it as a play in team.

He was hoping for a rebound off of a possible shot. Absolutely atrocious.

Lakers signed up for this though. I mean people were widely talking about him being washed up 2-3 years ago until he had that late season stat surge in Houston then in Washington.

This guy has lost LeBron's backing after this game. You can't tell me Lebron watches that defense and then the poor dunk attempt when he was wide open.

Yep, you know how some guys occasionally show up for national tv games in playoff form? That was Westbrook's. Total bull in china shop every time it counts.

I would like to see Lebron get the scoring title for the narrative honestly. I think that would be the best way for this season to be looked back upon as fondly as can be.

Lakers aren't even gonna trade him, even if there's a trade to be found, because he's an LA guy and they made such a big deal of him coming home.

As a serious question, if you replaced current Lebron, with 2013 Lebron, how much better are the Lakers currently?

Russ needs to go man. If the Lakers even make the playoffs, this was a preview of how he's going to lose them games. LeBron-led comeback followed by some kind of inexplicable Westbrook meltdown.
