he is in pace to win back to back mvps while probably being booted out od the playoffs uncerempniously

it seems like all these mvp players follow a similar trajectory, they start their early prime in the middle of their 20's were their skillsets and iq Match up with their youth and best athletism/"motor" win mvps, break regular season métrics then falter somewhat in the playoffs against more experienced players

then they enter their full prime where their regular season work rate slows down but they are more effective in the playoffs despite no longer dominating the mvp races with videogame boxscores

then they enter their early 30's late prime where they are diminished athletically and have to pick their spots but are the smartesr amd more skilled they will ever be

jokic right now is in that early prime with the otherworldy production, like giannis was before, then harden before, then curry before, then durant, then lebron before all that in 2009

where they break the stats and look like the new greatest thingh ever during the regular season before the next big thingh comes and outproduces them in regular season

I think the real interesting question that we can maybe start asking: if you had to bet your house on it, who finishes higher all-time, Jokic or Giannis? Are they like Magic and Bird, in the end, where based on who you ask, one will be higher than the other?

A Jokic vs Giannis playoff series would be really juicy

Corners 3s are much easier and spots reserved for role players mainly Kds short chart looks the same almost no corner 3s

Rainforest is saved. Look at 2:38

He should take more corner threes, I think I only see him missing one in the last three seasons. I think that might be his best spot when he shoots threes.

How things stand now I'd say it is more like a Duncan and KG comparison. They're comparable at their peak but Giannis has a small longevity edge and more play-off success.

He's gotta do better with keeping his cool. Nuggets saw a 30 pt lead evaporate when he sat and almost lost the game. He might have the greatest on/off numbers ever this year.

Is Jokic the most disrespected MVP ever? Dude got Ted for dunkig last game, and ejected for complaining on an obvious missed call.

Speaking of this, and I know they’ve had injuries, but the Nuggets right now without Jokic are absolutely terrible. Jokic’s ON-OFF went north of +30 after last night.

If the season were to finish today, Jokic would have all-time season record for PER (a standard deviation above everyone else :o , for BPM, and single season ON-OFF.

He definitely needs to keep his cool.
But this happened 2 years ago. Listen to Nuggets announcer - "that's Tony Brothers and he DOES NOT LIKE NIKOLA JOKIC". It was obvious 2 years ago, so maybe NBA should look at Tony Brothers. How it is possible that ref does not like a player, and everybody knows that. Maybe this ref should be under investigation, suspended?

Meh, tough to fault Jokic about last night. Some obvious missed calls which would piss off any player. Then just throw in Tony Brothers and his weird hatred for Jokic, not shocked to see that outcome. The refs completely blew it last night.

Jokic is leading the NBA in:

-WS
-PER
-VORP
-BPM
-PIE
-FIC
-RAPTOR
-LEBRON
-WAR

https://hoopshype.com/lists/advanced-stats-nba-real-plus-minus-rapm-win-shares-analytics/

Yes..he's leading in literally everything.

He's having one of the greatest seasons in NBA history.

And, his play since the beginning of last season is among the best/most well-rounded play by anyone over 110 games/two seasons in NBA history.
