Baphomet wrote:Amazing how it's always a national inquest whenever Liverpool have decisions going against them. Nobody bats an eye when Villa or Burnley or even Leicester get battered by horrible officiating and VAR calls on a game by game basis, yet when it's Liverpool the public is protesting outside FA headquarters in Soho Square, and the black armbands are out.

When the fossil fuels run out, or our sun inexplicably vanishes, you could still power the Earth harnessing the energy of Liverpool fans complaining.

The officials suck. The implementation of VAR sucks. We know. We've known it for years.

Well that ref is clearly red. Morton with a horror tackle should be off. Henderson should have been yellowed. At least we're winning at the moment.

Konaté takes out Albrighton and not even a foul called. Ref is bribed.

Jota hits Thomas in the face deliberately and not even a foul. Cheat

And then he just adds time until they get the third. 4 minutes extra in the 1st half too. Ridiculous reffing.

I'm not criticising Liverpool, they were great. However the ref was incompetent and possibly corrupt. That Morton tackle was far far worse than the Kane tackle that he should've been red carded for. It could've ended Ricardo's career and did end his match. Jota looked at Thomas and then elbowed him in the face - with VAR that's a red. Henderson's tackle on Maddison was a clear yellow and whoever took out albrighton was probably a red too. You won but the ref ruined the game. It reminded me of big 6 bias before VAR.

Doesn't look great. I didn't watch the match. I was just teasing you. The problem is that officiating can be so subjective. It's an issue across all sport. The NFL has a real issue with it.

It's bad. Where's the indignation from the press for this one? Where's the opinions of renowned doctors and physios Mark Clattenberg and Jamie Carragher on this horror tackle?

Also, because of Liverpool's game cancellation against Leeds, Robertson will now be suspended for their game against Chelsea. You love to see it.

As an aside, you and the other pool fans on here are good lads so when I rant about Liverpool fans it's not directed at anyone here.

The British press has so much Liverpool bias it's unreal and the fans here are super delusional as a result.

Sounds like you should be avoiding the press then.

The media has favorites here as well. The issue in the U.K. is that Football is the predominant topic. So it gets more attention than it probably should.

I've watched British talk shows (BT Sport, Sky) and most of the punditry seems to be centered around the big clubs. It's an issue here as well. But obviously Football is so much bigger over there. In America, the media primarily talks about the NFL, the NBA & college athletics for the most part (Ratings). But it's still the same garbage.

You've got clowns like this on every network. It's who has the hottest take at the moment. Real journalism is long gone.

It's worse than bad.

The silence in the media and during and after the match was deafening.

After Klopp's hysterics in the spurs match he said nothing, all he did was bang on about having to play 2 games in 48 hours, I'm sure he'll forfeit the league game against Leicester seeing as after we lost to them in the league cup, we go to Man city on 26th and then have to play them again on the 28th, followed by the jan 1st game. I'm sure he'll be very quiet despite his team managing to make our playing squad smaller.

Well We're at Man city and we can hardly put out a team. Vardy, N'Didi, Castagne, choudhury and soumaré are on the bench but not fully fit. Daka has just gone down for 3 weeks and even Bertrand has got injured in warm up. We're playing a back 4 that has never played together and Nacho up front. Could be a long afternoon.

1 down after 4 minutes. We have nothing in defence. This could be record victory. Double figures easily.

VAR takes forever and then calls penalty. BIG 6 bias again. The game is ****.
