This is to the loyal and faithful Laker Nation. Fans have paid good money to see the Lakers and have been very disappointed and discouraged to see the results with losses to teams they should beat. Competitive teams with subpar efforts and difficulty reading teammates executing plays. Elite teams winning by large margins or have problems trying to figure it out. The complimentary to this is does this team have a good basketball IQ to pull things together. This team is the oldest and the most experience team in the league. The analytics illustrate that this team has the talent to win it all. It is not Vogel's fault these guys are professionals with the most team experience in the league and some players are being over paid. The way to send this team a message is do not waste your money going to games. The 2021-2022 season is a disaster.

The reality check from my point of view would be a bit more optimistic. There is still one way this team can win it all. One. Defense. If that’s in place by playoffs time we have a chance. It won’t be unless Frank benches stars when they suck. Looking at you Russ.

In a 7 game series, you can’t count out a bunch of old guys. Not Olympian champions and world champs and not NBA champs like on this roster. If healthy and if the defense is on, we can beat any team in seven games.
